As a counselor, I believe that healing begins with understanding — both of ourselves and of the patterns that shape how we live, think, and feel. My approach is person-centered, strength-based, and compassionate. I deeply believe in meeting clients where they are, and I honor the pace at which each person is ready to move. Growth takes time, and every step forward is meaningful. I hold the belief that we each already carry the strength, wisdom, and resilience we need within us — sometimes we just need help uncovering it. By gently shifting away from unhelpful patterns and learning to embrace more empowering ways of thinking and being, we make room for courage, clarity, and transformation. Most importantly, I want clients to know that this deep and necessary inner work doesn't have to be done alone. As a counselor, my goal is to walk alongside you — with honesty, care, and encouragement — as you navigate life’s challenges and rediscover what’s possible for you.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s completely normal to feel a mix of emotions. In our first session, you can expect a space that feels open, warm, and collaborative — where you’re invited to share at your own pace. We’ll spend time getting to know what brings you to therapy, exploring your goals, and beginning to lay the foundation for the work ahead. My role is to support you, not to judge or rush the process. You don’t have to have it all figured out — I’m here to walk with you as we begin this journey together.
What makes me unique as a therapist is my commitment to creating a space that feels authentic, compassionate, and free of judgment. I understand how important it is to feel safe and truly seen, especially when navigating the challenges of a difficult season in life. My professional experience — combined with a deep respect for each person’s journey — allows me to meet clients with empathy and honesty. I don’t just listen; I also offer practical tools and strategies that you can begin using in daily life to help move you toward your goals. It’s not about rushing the process — it’s about walking with you, step by step, as you build strength, clarity, and confidence from within.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I often use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in my work because it gently helps clients learn how to regulate their emotions while finding a healthy balance between acceptance and change. In our work together, we focus on understanding thoughts and feelings without judgment, while also building practical skills for growth. For example, when negative thoughts feel overwhelming, I help clients explore alternative, more compassionate ways of thinking—allowing for a more balanced perspective. Over time, this balance can support healthier choices, stronger coping skills, and meaningful change in daily life.
Compassion Focused
At the heart of my work is compassion. I listen deeply and without judgment, and I help clients learn how to respond to themselves with understanding rather than criticism. By focusing on strengths and self-compassion, clients often feel more grounded, supported, and empowered to grow.
