Michele Tingley is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 27 years experience helping individuals heal, overcome obstacles and reach their highest potential. Michele utilizes a client- centered, strengths-based approach in telehealth sessions with children, adults, and families. Michele’s vast experience, training and clinical skills allow her to work together with individuals to grow and reach their goals in treatment.
During the first session, Michele will ask questions about your past experiences and current issues in order to understand your needs. Seeking help from someone new can be difficult, Michele’s warm, non-judgmental, and conversational approach helps create a safe environment where individuals can share their issues and concerns. Michele will then provide recommendations for treatment that may help address your issues, working together to develop a plan of care.
Michele has vast experience working with children, adults, and families with a variety of issues and needs. Michele has extensive clinical training in treatment approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and behavioral analysis. Michele’s mission is to help individuals overcome instances to reach their highest potential.
