I have worked in different fields including grief, behavior, and mental health which has given me different perspectives on the different challenges that we all as humans go through. I seek to help each person find what sparks joy and provides meaning for each person individually.

As a Family Therapist and Registered Drama Therapist based in Florida, I am dedicated to providing compassionate care using a holistic and arts-integrated approach. I work with many types of clients. Hello! I’m so happy to share a little about myself. I am a licensed clinical social worker in Florida, and I care deeply about helping parents, birthing people, and families during important times in their lives. For the past 18 years, I have worked with people who are pregnant, have just had a baby, or are learning to be parents. I also support adults who are feeling anxious, sad, or stressed, or who are going through big changes in their lives. I want everyone I work with to feel seen, supported, and strong. I earned my Master’s degree from the University of Central Florida, and I am certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support International. This means I have special training to help people through pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenting. It is such an honor to see people grow, heal, and become more confident and connected with themselves and their families.

As a dedicated psychotherapist, I am deeply committed to fostering healing and growth in my clients. Growing up in a diverse community, I witnessed firsthand the impact of mental health challenges on individuals and families. This ignited my passion for understanding psychological resilience and the transformative power of therapy. I have worked with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults facing a range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. Each client’s story has taught me the importance of empathy, active listening, and creating non-judgmental space for exploration.

Originally, and still at heart, from the Lowcountry of South Carolina, my family and I returned to Northeast Florida in 2015 once my husband retired from the military. Now, as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I am able to use my experience as a military spouse, mother of two and a bonus teen, 2 dogs, and green thumbs, to engage with my clients.
