I am a licensed mental health counselor providing therapy to adolescents, adults, and families in a supportive and collaborative environment. My practice is grounded in a person-centered approach, emphasizing empathy, unconditional positive regard, and a strong therapeutic relationship where clients feel heard, respected, and accepted without judgment. I also integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused techniques to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, build on their strengths, and develop practical strategies for change. I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, and self-esteem concerns. In sessions, I support clients in exploring their thoughts and emotions, gaining insight into patterns that may be contributing to distress, and identifying realistic and meaningful goals. Using CBT, we focus on the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, while also practicing coping skills, cognitive reframing, and emotional regulation strategies. Through a Solution-Focused lens, I help clients recognize their existing strengths, resilience, and past successes to guide goal setting and create forward movement. This approach encourages clients to envision their preferred future and take small, achievable steps toward positive change. By combining these approaches, I tailor treatment to meet each client’s unique needs and experiences. My goal is to empower clients to increase self-awareness, improve emotional well-being, strengthen relationships, and build confidence in managing life’s challenges. I believe therapy is a collaborative process where clients are active participants in their growth. I strive to provide a safe and supportive space where individuals can develop insight, build effective coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session, you can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where we begin getting to know each other. I will ask questions about what brought you to therapy, your current concerns, and what you hope to gain from the process. We may also discuss relevant personal history, such as family background, relationships, stressors, and any previous therapy experiences. The goal of the first session is to understand your needs and begin identifying initial goals for treatment. I will also explain my therapeutic approach, which includes person-centered care along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused strategies, so you know how we may work together moving forward. You are encouraged to ask questions at any time so you feel comfortable and informed about the process. We will also talk briefly about confidentiality, scheduling, and what ongoing sessions typically look like. There is no pressure to share everything at once—therapy moves at your pace, and we will focus on what feels most important and manageable for you. By the end of the session, we will begin outlining a plan that supports your goals and helps guide future sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach stands out because I integrate person-centered care with evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused techniques to create a flexible, client-tailored experience. This allows me to not only provide a supportive and empathetic therapeutic relationship, but also equip clients with practical tools to manage symptoms, shift unhelpful thought patterns, and move toward meaningful goals. I emphasize both emotional support and forward movement in treatment, helping clients feel understood while also empowering them to create real, actionable change. By combining insight-oriented work with structured skill-building and strength-based strategies, I am able to meet clients where they are and adapt treatment to their unique needs, pace, and goals.
