New to Grow
Hi, I’m Karly Sandoval, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who believes that healing begins when we feel truly seen, supported, and understood. I became a counselor because, when I was younger, I needed someone to help me navigate my own challenges — and now I strive to be that person for others. I take an eclectic and creative approach to counseling, meaning I draw from different therapeutic methods to meet your unique needs. I enjoy helping people from all walks of life discover their inner strength and work toward meaningful growth. Whether you’re facing anxiety, family stress, or life transitions, my goal is to help you reconnect with your values, find clarity, and move forward with confidence. I hope we can grow together and create a space that feels both supportive and empowering.
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and exploring what you’d like to work toward. You can expect unconditional positive regard and a safe, welcoming environment where you can express yourself freely. Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals and the steps needed to reach them.
I’m a creative and flexible therapist who enjoys drawing from multiple therapeutic theories and techniques. I often use tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and Reality Therapy. I also take a person-centered approach, meaning I meet you where you are and tailor each session to fit your unique experiences and goals.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, parents, and older adults — but I welcome clients from all backgrounds and stages of life. My ideal clients are those who want to better understand themselves, improve their relationships, and make meaningful changes that align with their values and goals. If you’re ready to begin your journey toward self-discovery and healing, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
I utilized an eclectic approach to counseling which includes techniques from CBT, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Reality Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
