Many Black men carry responsibility, emotion, and expectation without having a space to process what they’re carrying. Over time, this can show up as stress, anger, anxiety, or feeling worn down. I provide individual therapy for Black men and for adolescents who need a space where they are understood. I also help parents and caregivers — especially those raising Black and Brown boys and families in blended or co-parenting systems — build clarity, connection, and consistent discipline. My approach is relational, culturally informed, and focused on helping you understand patterns, reduce overwhelm, and strengthen your family system.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Therapy isn’t about labeling you — it’s about slowing things down, making sense of patterns, and building emotional tools that fit your real life. Together, we’ll work to: Build connection over conflict. Understand stress and behavior. Strengthen communication in families. Navigate blended roles/co-parenting challenges. Support development in boys and men.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience providing therapy to adults, children, and families across a range of emotional and behavioral concerns. I bring a steady, respectful presence to the work and value building trust at your pace. My approach is relational, grounded, and collaborative. Therapy is not about fixing you or your child — it’s about slowing things down, making sense of patterns, and building emotional tools that actually fit real life.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work best with: Black men navigating stress, identity, emotional isolation, and life transitions Parents and caregivers of Black and Brown boys managing behavior, school challenges, and parent-teen connection Individuals and families in blended or co-parenting systems seeking alignment and structure.
