Over the last 15 years, I have been dedicated and committed to working with the people of my Central Florida community to overcome challenges in their everyday lives. Relationship challenges, anger, depression, anxiety, and trauma are some of the areas I have assisted in providing services. I provide an individualized treatment approach, displaying empathy and honesty while offering a safe place to be your true self. I am dedicated to making this treatment experience worthwhile as we all strive to become a better version of ourselves. Seeking therapy may be uncharted territory, but having someone who understands you can improve your overall well-being. Start today by booking your appointment with Brown's Mental Wellness.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

I work with clients who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, or family conflict. During our initial sessions, we will delve deeply into the issues at hand, and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps you get your life back.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with adults, adolescents, and families for the past 15 years, I've developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I often use cognitive behavioral therapy in my practice. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and decide the most appropriate ways to help you progress. With CBT, we'll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience. During treatment, we'll explore how to push back against those thoughts to change your feelings for the better

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I used solution-focused brief treatment to focus on current circumstances and future hopes. It is used from the client's perspective as the expert who creates their reality and what they want.

Motivational Interviewing

I used motivational interviewing as a counseling method that helps people resolve ambivalent feelings and insecurities to find internal motivation to change an unwanted behavior.
