New to Grow
Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. It’s incredibly brave to reflect on your life and decide to make positive changes. Seeking support is often the first meaningful step forward. I believe one of the most healing experiences a person can have is to feel truly heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. I specialize in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for anxiety, depression, and related concerns. As someone who personally understands OCD and the experience of feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, I know how overwhelming it can feel when old coping strategies stop working and you’re unsure how to move forward. Therapy can provide a space to better understand yourself, build healthier coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I work with adults, adolescents, and children ages 10 and older, helping clients navigate anxiety, intrusive thoughts, relationship patterns, stress, and life transitions. I also enjoy supporting military members, first responders, and helping professionals who often carry high levels of stress and responsibility. My goal is to help clients feel more confident, emotionally grounded, and connected to a life that feels authentic and fulfilling. If you’re ready to begin creating a life you genuinely enjoy, I would be honored to support you in that process.
During our first session, my priority is helping you feel comfortable, heard, and understood in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment. I know that starting therapy can feel intimidating, so we will move at a pace that feels manageable for you. We will spend time discussing what brings you to therapy, the challenges you’ve been facing, and the goals you hope to work toward. I also want to learn about you as a whole person — not just your symptoms, but your experiences, strengths, relationships, and the life you want to build moving forward. My approach is collaborative and compassionate. I view therapy as a partnership, and I genuinely root for my clients to become the healthiest, most authentic versions of themselves. Together, we will begin identifying patterns, building insight, and creating practical tools that can help you feel more confident, balanced, and empowered in your daily life.
Clients often describe my approach as warm, genuine, practical, and deeply validating. My goal as a therapist is to provide real support to people who are hurting so they feel less alone in what they are carrying. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly heard, understood, and accepted while also helping them build insight, healthier coping patterns, and meaningful lasting change. I believe healing often begins when someone feels genuinely seen, and I am passionate about helping clients become more confident, emotionally grounded, and connected to a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.
I work with adults, children, and families seeking greater self-understanding, emotional balance, and healthier ways of navigating life’s challenges. My ideal clients are individuals who feel ready to explore patterns in their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and decision-making in order to create meaningful and lasting change. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical, combining evidence-based therapies with a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to be honest and vulnerable. I believe therapy should help clients not only gain insight but also develop tools they can use in everyday life. I also have a special interest in supporting military members, veterans, first responders, and helping professionals who may carry chronic stress, emotional exhaustion, or difficulty balancing the demands of their personal and professional lives. Whether working individually or incorporating family support when appropriate, my goal is to help clients feel more grounded, resilient, and connected to the life they want to build.
Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)
I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), an evidence-based approach commonly used to treat OCD and anxiety disorders. ERP helps clients gradually face feared thoughts, situations, or sensations while reducing compulsive behaviors and avoidance patterns, allowing anxiety to decrease naturally over time and helping clients regain confidence and control in their daily lives.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based approach that helps clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns, emotional responses, and behaviors. CBT focuses on developing practical coping skills, improving emotional awareness, and creating healthier ways of responding to stress, anxiety, depression, and life challenges.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
I incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), an evidence-based approach that helps clients develop psychological flexibility, reduce avoidance patterns, and build a healthier relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions. ACT focuses on mindfulness, values-based living, and learning how to move toward a meaningful life even in the presence of anxiety, stress, or emotional pain.
Attachment-based
I incorporate attachment-based therapy to help clients explore how early relationships and life experiences may shape current patterns in relationships, emotional regulation, self-worth, and connection with others. This approach supports clients in developing greater self-awareness, healthier relationship dynamics, emotional security, and more fulfilling interpersonal connections.
