I have been a clinical mental health therapist and behavior analyst for children and adults. I have treated and helped people with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, problems with motivation and other life issues unique to each person. I have worked in schools, outpatient practices and homes. My experience has led to form a unique and diverse system for identifying and assessing challenging behavior patterns. I value the human experience and understand that just because a problem is identified, change is not automatic. Understanding the patterns that maintain behavior and thinking patterns can take asking the right questions and exploring unique alternatives to those patterns.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

It's ok to not know what to talk about first, or how to organize everything you want to say. My goal is to help you organize some thoughts by asking questions that are intended to form some understanding of your own views of your environment, situations, problems and thoughts. You'll have time to speak freely and openly without concern for having to "know" what your goals will be-- my goal is to form the frame for goals and to ease any sense of needing to perform the role of a client in a particular way.

The treatment methods and tools I utilize

I use talk therapy to help clients think and discuss their issues in more effective ways by incorporating proven strategies from applied behavior analysis, psychodynamic approaches, sensorimotor psychotherapy, mindfulness and trauma healing work.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Areas that I feel most effective are treating and healing from trauma, anxiety, working with children through adulthood, parenting challenges and offering problem solving via behavior strategies.
