My name is Lekan Oloyede, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), and National Certified Counselor (NCC) dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families find healing, hope, and lasting emotional wellness. I believe healing begins when you have a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. I think it is important for a therapist to be able to implement multiple approaches to the therapy process in order to best serve a client. I do predominantly utilize cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed approaches, but I may modify the approach to best meet your needs and goals. My main focus is helping you make progress and meet your identified goals.
I initially was drawn to being a therapist because I wanted to help others meet life's challenges and understand that sometimes we need a partner/support on that journey. I have worked with many different populations over the course of my career, including children, teens, adults, and seniors. Additionally, I have experience working in many different settings, including community mental health, inpatient mental health units, juvenile justice, nursing homes, and adult corrections. I believe these varied experiences and populations have helped to make me a well-rounded therapist.

I completed my Masters in 2005, while also starting my journey in the field in 2004. I spent a year working in Opiate addiction but my true passion was children and families. I moved on to intensive services, working with underserved children and their families in rural areas, from 2005-2007. After leaving that position, I moved onto a company doing similar work. where I continued to work with children, families and adults that were underserved for 5 more years. I provided therapy in homes, schools and the office setting. I began to focus in on Trauma work as well as anxiety disorders to include OCD and all other anxiety disorders. After spending nearly 10 years in the field, I decided to get my license in the state of Florida (LMHC-Licensed Mental Health Counselor) and move into a management role where I worked for the past 13 years while also maintaining private clients. I supervise therapists, working to become licensed, so I spend a lot of time consulting on cases of all kinds. In this time I was also trained in various forms of trauma based cognitive behavioral approaches as well as EMDR (still learning however).

I utilize evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients gain insight, identify practical solutions, and move toward their goals. I approach mental wellness as a spectrum of being that will regularly ebb and flow for all people. We all have "good" days and "not so good" days; we all need someone to talk to and to listen to us when days are harder, and we all need a compassionate voice to tell us that we can work through this. Menatl health work is manageable when it is education and information based, which helps us to make our problems seem more manageable. I like to help my clients feel comfortable about talking through their thoughts and obstacles, and finding real, simple solutions to problems. I have worked with people of all ages; my youngest client was 3 years old, and my oldest client was 84; I am proud to say that I can adjust to meet clients' needs. This is due to my ability to listen and to collaborate actively with clients to help them have a say in their care and healing.

Maybe you've been handling things on your own for a long time. From the outside, you may even seem like you're doing fine, but something doesn't feel right. You might feel stuck, overwhelmed, frustrated, or simply tired of dealing with the same problems over and over. Career changes, relationship difficulties, separation or divorce, becoming a parent, changes in family roles, or other life transitions can leave you questioning what's next.
You don't need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. My approach is collaborative, straightforward, and practical. Together, we'll work to understand what's keeping you stuck and develop strategies that can help you create meaningful change in your everyday life.
Many of the people I work with are used to handling things on their own but have reached a point where something isn't working anymore. They may be navigating stress, relationship difficulties, career or family changes, or simply feeling stuck. They want to better understand what's happening, make practical changes, and feel more confident about what comes next.
I believe that therapy is most successful when the therapist-client rapport is strong and grounded in empathy, respect, and understanding. I specialize in helping high-achieving individuals who want to empower themselves to overcome low self-esteem, body image issues, and eating concerns. I also address mood challenges, trauma, and relationship difficulties.
I offer high-quality, evidence-based therapy that is tailored to you: a combination of insights, practical tools, and a deeper understanding of your attachment style will be incorporated into your therapy. Because one size does not fit all, your therapy will include consistent check-ins to understand what is working well, which modalities you prefer, and which goals are most important to you.

Hello! My name is Lidia Conners, a Clinical Social Worker with two decades of experience. I have successfully treated a diverse population of adults and older adolescents with mental health inquiries specifically with anxiety, depression or trauma. I strongly believe in contributing to the well-being of clients using a client-centered, caring/compassionate individualized approach.
When life feels heavy, it's easy to feel disconnected from yourself, your relationships, or the direction you want your life to take. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, grief, or major life transitions—and unsure of how to move forward.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor serving adolescents and adults in Florida and New Jersey, I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered. Together, we'll identify what's contributing to your struggles, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools that support healing, resilience, and meaningful change.
