New to Grow
Hi, I’m Ashley Conway, a Licensed Therapist providing virtual therapy to adults throughout Florida. I’m passionate about helping people navigate anxiety, depression, chronic illness, life transitions, and grief as well as the emotional challenges that can come with feeling overwhelmed or stuck. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to heal and grow.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, so my goal during our first session is to help you feel comfortable, supported, and heard. We’ll spend time getting to know each other, discussing what brings you to therapy, and exploring the challenges you’re currently facing. We’ll also talk about your goals and what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out — we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is creating a space where clients feel genuinely heard, supported, and understood without judgment. My personal and professional experience allows me to bring a unique level of empathy and insight to individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, and health-related challenges. Clients often describe me as calm, approachable, and easy to talk to, and I strive to balance emotional support with practical tools that help clients feel more empowered and confident in their daily lives. I take a collaborative, trauma-informed approach that integrates evidence-based modalities such as CBT, EMDR, and person-centered therapy. I tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
I enjoy working with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, chronic illness / health issues, depression, and grief. I work especially well with individuals living with concerns who may feel overwhelmed, isolated, emotionally exhausted, or misunderstood. My goal is to provide a supportive and validating space where clients can process their experiences, build resilience, and develop healthier coping strategies. Therapy should make you feel empowered, and capable of navigating life with greater confidence and balance.
EMDR
EMDR uses bilateral stimulation to target subconscious beliefs and can be very beneficial in working with trauma.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
DBT skills can be beneficial for learning distress tolerance and changing unwanted reactions or behaviors.
