New to Grow
I believe that healthy relationships are one of the most important parts of emotional well-being. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I help individuals and couples strengthen communication, navigate conflict, process life transitions, and build deeper, healthier connections with themselves and others. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow. I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, and I work to make the process feel comfortable, approachable, and meaningful from the very beginning. I have experience supporting clients with relationship challenges, anxiety, stress, emotional overwhelm, communication difficulties, self-esteem concerns, and personal growth. I work with adults, couples, and individuals who are looking to better understand themselves, improve their relationships, and create lasting positive change.
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable therapeutic relationship. Clients can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where they can openly discuss what brought them to therapy, current challenges they may be experiencing, and what they hope to gain from the process. During this session, I’ll ask questions about your background, relationships, stressors, emotional experiences, and goals for therapy so I can better understand your needs. We’ll also discuss what therapy may look like moving forward and begin identifying helpful strategies and next steps. My goal is for clients to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the work we can do together.
My therapy approach is personalized, evidence-based, and focused on helping clients create practical, lasting change. I draw from several therapeutic approaches depending on each client’s unique needs and goals, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Gottman Method techniques, and EMDR/trauma-informed interventions. I believe therapy should be both supportive and actionable. Together, we work to identify patterns, improve communication, strengthen coping skills, increase emotional awareness, and develop healthier ways of responding to stress and relationship challenges. I view therapy as a collaborative process. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor sessions to each client’s experiences, strengths, and goals while helping them feel supported throughout the process.
I work with individuals, couples, and families who are seeking healthier relationships, greater emotional well-being, and lasting personal growth. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, trauma, relationship conflict, communication challenges, parenting concerns, or the effects of past experiences on their current lives. I especially enjoy helping individuals and couples strengthen communication, rebuild trust, improve connection, and develop practical skills for healthier relationships. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or simply ready to make positive changes, I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we can work together toward meaningful, lasting progress. My goal is to help clients gain insight, build resilience, and create healthier relationships with themselves and the people who matter most.

I identify as
Couples Counseling
In couples counseling, I help partners better understand one another, improve communication, and strengthen their relationship. My approach is collaborative, practical, and tailored to each couple’s unique needs. Together, we identify unhelpful interaction patterns, develop healthier ways to communicate, rebuild trust, resolve conflict more effectively, and deepen emotional connection. I incorporate evidence-based approaches, including Gottman Method principles, along with other therapeutic techniques as appropriate. Whether you’re preparing for marriage, navigating life transitions, healing after a breach of trust, or simply feeling disconnected, I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where both partners feel heard and respected. My goal is to help couples build the skills and understanding needed to create a healthier, more satisfying relationship.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps identify the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In my practice, I use CBT to help clients recognize unhelpful thinking patterns that may contribute to anxiety, depression, stress, relationship difficulties, or low self-esteem. Together, we examine these patterns, challenge beliefs that are no longer serving them, and develop healthier, more balanced ways of thinking. CBT is practical, goal-oriented, and focused on building skills that clients can apply in everyday life. I tailor CBT techniques to each individual’s unique needs, helping clients develop effective coping strategies, improve emotional regulation, strengthen problem-solving skills, and create lasting, positive changes both in and outside of therapy.
EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapy that helps people process distressing memories and experiences that continue to affect their present-day lives. In my practice, I use EMDR to help clients reduce the emotional impact of trauma, anxiety, negative self-beliefs, and other experiences that may be contributing to current challenges. EMDR is integrated into a comprehensive treatment plan and is used when it is appropriate for a client’s needs and readiness. I guide clients through the process in a safe, supportive environment, helping them process difficult experiences, strengthen healthy beliefs about themselves, and develop greater emotional resilience. My goal is to help clients move forward with less distress and an increased sense of confidence, peace, and well-being.
Gottman method
The Gottman Method is an evidence-based approach to couples therapy that helps partners strengthen their relationship by improving communication, managing conflict, and deepening emotional connection. In my practice, I use Gottman Method principles to help couples better understand one another’s needs, identify unhealthy interaction patterns, and build practical skills for creating a stronger, more satisfying relationship. Together, we focus on increasing friendship and trust, improving conflict resolution, enhancing emotional intimacy, and fostering mutual respect. Whether couples are preparing for marriage, navigating life transitions, recovering from a breach of trust, or simply feeling disconnected, I tailor the Gottman Method to their unique relationship and goals. My aim is to help couples develop lasting tools that support a healthier, more resilient partnership long after therapy ends.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is a goal-oriented, strengths-based approach that helps clients identify practical solutions rather than remaining focused on problems. In my practice, I use SFBT to help clients recognize their existing strengths, build on past successes, and take meaningful steps toward the changes they want to achieve. Together, we identify clear, achievable goals and focus on what is working well, exploring small, realistic changes that can lead to lasting progress. I incorporate SFBT techniques to help clients develop confidence, increase resilience, and create practical strategies for overcoming challenges. This approach can be especially helpful for individuals, couples, and families seeking positive change, improved coping, and greater hope for the future.
