About me

I am committed to supporting you throughout your healing journey by providing a safe place that is non-judgmental, encouraging, and supportive as you navigate through the difficult moments of your life. Striving to help you gain insight about the problems hindering you from living your best life possible, address unhelpful beliefs, thoughts, and patterns of behavior, and implement new ways of coping through life’s issues. With compassion and understanding, we collaborate to determine the most effective approach to treatment. If you're feeling sad or depressed, more irritable or angry with those around you, have difficulty bonding with your baby, anxious or panicky, problems sleeping, having upsetting thoughts that you can’t get out of your mind? There is no reason to continue to suffer alone or in silence. We can help walk beside you towards your healing journey.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our initial meeting, we’ll focus on getting to know each other, exploring what brought you to therapy, and starting to understand the challenges you’re currently facing. You’ll have the opportunity to share what’s been on your mind at your own pace, and I’ll ask some questions to learn more about your background, current life circumstances, and goals.

The treatment methods and tools I utilize

In my work as a therapist, I draw from a range of evidence-based treatment modalities to meet each client’s unique needs and goals. These include Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, which emphasizes clients' strengths and helps identify practical steps toward change, and Motivational Interviewing, which supports individuals in exploring and enhancing their own motivation for personal growth. I also integrate Compassion-Focused Therapy to help clients cultivate self-kindness and reduce self-criticism, alongside Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. For parents and caregivers, I offer strategies from the Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) to strengthen family dynamics and promote healthy development. Additionally, I incorporate mindfulness-based practices to enhance emotional regulation, presence, and resilience. By blending these approaches, I aim to create a personalized, supportive, and effective therapeutic experience.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to support you in exploring, processing, and moving toward the changes you want to see. Whether you're seeking relief, clarity, healing, or growth, our work together will be tailored to your unique needs and pace. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. What often stands out to clients is the balance I try to create between creating a compassionate, nonjudgmental space and offering practical tools that lead to meaningful change. I tailor my methods to fit each individual, drawing from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based approaches, Solution Focused Therapy, etc. while always keeping your goals at the center of our work. Clients have shared that they feel truly seen and understood in our sessions—often for the first time—which can be a powerful part of the healing process. While therapy is not a one-size-fits-all journey, many people I work with begin to notice shifts in how they relate to themselves, others, and their challenges within the first few sessions. Together, we work to build insight, resilience, and lasting change—not just symptom relief. Whether you're navigating anxiety, postpartum, parenting, relationship concerns or life transitions, my role is to walk alongside you with empathy, clarity, and a steady commitment to your growth.
