About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who helps adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, and life transitions. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change. Using a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach, I help clients build coping skills, increase self-awareness, and move toward healing and a more fulfilling life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know one another and discussing what brought you to therapy. I'll learn about your current challenges, strengths, and goals while answering any questions you may have about the therapy process. Together, we'll begin developing a plan tailored to your needs. My goal is for you to leave feeling comfortable, supported, and hopeful about the work we can do together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is creating a warm, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe enough to be themselves. I have experience working in community mental health, substance use treatment, trauma recovery, and private practice, which allows me to support clients with a wide range of challenges. I combine evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care with a compassionate, solution-focused style. I believe every client has strengths they can build upon, and I enjoy helping people move from surviving to thriving.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults and older adolescents who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, stuck, or impacted by difficult past experiences and are looking for support, healing, and practical tools for change. I enjoy working with individuals who are motivated to better understand themselves, develop healthier coping skills, and create a more balanced and fulfilling life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful thought patterns, challenge negative beliefs, and develop healthier ways of coping with life's challenges. CBT provides practical tools that can help reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, stress, and other emotional concerns while creating lasting change.

EMDR

EMDR is a specialized therapy that helps individuals process and heal from traumatic experiences and distressing memories. As an EMDR-trained therapist, I help clients safely reprocess experiences that may be contributing to current emotional distress, negative beliefs, or unhealthy patterns. EMDR can help reduce the emotional intensity of past events while strengthening positive beliefs and promoting healing and resilience.

Trauma Informed Care

I use a trauma-informed approach that recognizes the impact past experiences can have on emotional well-being, relationships, and daily functioning. My goal is to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel respected, empowered, and understood. I work collaboratively with clients to build coping skills, increase self-awareness, and process difficult experiences at a pace that feels comfortable, helping them move toward healing and lasting change.
