LCSW, 8 years of experience
New to Grow
Hello I am Malisa Dwyer , a Afro Caribbean Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 8 years of experience supporting adults through life transitions. I bring a culturally grounded, trauma-informed approach to mental health. I specialize in military family life, anxiety, post partum, parenting and depression. My goal is to create a compassionate space that supports your emotional growth. Together we will explore your thoughts and feelings, build self- awareness and develop supportive tools that empower you.
In our fist session we will get to know each other and explore what brought you to therapy. I'll listen to your concerns, discuss your goals and begin identifying strengths and strategies to support your goals.
My greatest strength is creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly seen and heard. this ability to build a genuine connection allows individuals to explore healing , manage stress and build lasting resilience. whether your navigating the complexities of military life, relationships, parenthood, or generational trauma, I'm hear to support your journey with empathy, insight and intention.
I work with adults who are navigating life transitions, managing anxiety or depression or just feeling stuck in patterns that keep you from living a full life. I enjoy supporting client who are willing to build healthy coping strategies.
