If you’ve found your way to this page, it’s likely because something in your life feels out of balance, and you’re seeking support. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or life transitions, I want you to know that you don’t have to navigate this journey alone. I’m here to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can be yourself and explore your thoughts and feelings. My approach to therapy is grounded in empathy and understanding. I believe that everyone has the capacity for change and growth, and together, we can work toward unlocking your inner strength and resilience. In our sessions, we will work collaboratively, focusing on your unique needs and experiences. I draw from various therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, and psychodynamic therapy, to create a tailored approach that resonates with you. My goal is to help you not only understand the root causes of your challenges but also develop practical tools to move forward with confidence. Healing isn’t linear, but with support, it is absolutely possible. If you’re ready to start making meaningful changes, I’d be honored to guide you along this path. Together, we’ll explore your thoughts, uncover your strengths, and work toward the life you want to create.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, please be comfortable about this process - there may be some Q&A but it's a part of it. It's time for someone to listen who can relate, understand, achieve while providing solutions and SMART goals for the future. The first session is the most important. I gather the info to provide you with a treatment plan that works - if you work it.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with Adults with Mental Health Challenges for the past 13 years, I've developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with those that are ready to change and if you are not, I will help to explore that as well.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a psychotherapy approach that is used widely today in addiction treatment.. CBT teaches those in treatment for a substance use disorder (SUD) to find connections between their thoughts, feelings, and actions and increase awareness of how these things impact recovery. CBT is a short-term technique that identifies negative emotions and thoughts to understand the root cause of addiction and other mental health disorders. CBT can be combined with other types of therapy for a more customized treatment plan.

Daialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT techniques have proven to be effective in treating a number of mental health issues, including bipolar disorder, anxiety and depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), eating disorders, and substance abuse. Mindfulness: This is the practice of being fully aware and focused in the present instead of worrying about the past or future. Distress tolerance: This involves understanding and managing your emotions in difficult or stressful situations without responding with harmful behaviors. Interpersonal effectiveness: This means understanding how to ask for what you want and need and setting boundaries while maintaining respect for yourself and others. Emotion regulation: This means understanding, being more aware of and having more control over your emotions.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS is a transformative tool that conceives of every human being as a system of protective and wounded inner parts led by a core Self. We believe the mind is naturally multiple and that is a good thing. Just like members of a family, inner parts are forced from their valuable states into extreme roles within us. Self is in everyone. It can’t be damaged. It knows how to heal.
