I have a broad range of training and experience in different counseling approaches, including the American Psychiatric Association and World Health Organization-approved treatment modalities like EMDR (for PTSD and other trauma-related disorders), CBT, DBT, Psychoanalytic Approaches, and other traditional treatment modalities for mood disorders and addiction. My counseling practice embraces changes, focusing on a more fulfilling life and coping with one’s thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I work with clients individually to understand their issues and apply evidence-based treatment methods to meet their needs. My therapeutic approach in couples/family therapy focuses on increasing understanding and empathy, helping the couples validate one another, and strengthening their communication.
