I specialize in helping individuals who have experienced domestic violence, sexual abuse, trauma, depression and anxiety. I have also worked closely with other mental health illnesses such as bi-polar, schizophrenia, and substance abuse. I have a passion for helping individual heal from distress while providing much needed support. I have had the pleasure to provide compassion, empathy and a listening ear to individuals in need.
The treatment methods i utilize vary depending on the clients presenting problem. I have experience with Cognitive Behavioral therapy, Dialectical Behavioral therapy, Client centered therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, etc.

Dorilee is a bundle of positivity and always sure to celebrate your wins both big and small. She was great at reminding me to shift my perspective towards the positive. However, at times our perspectives and identities clashed. She is strong on forgiveness and understanding, it goes hand in hand with her holistic sometimes spiritual take on therapy. This personally did not work for me and was not my frame of mind on certain harmful actions/people. Just something that didn't work for me.
