I believe that when you truly want to change, it will start to happen. I am a Licensed Mental health Therapist in Florida with 7 years of professional work experience. I’ve known I wanted to be a therapist since I was in high school; I was always the person my friends would come to for their problems. I grew to love the field even more as I developed my career. Everyone is unique in how we process and work through our problems. I believe in the rights of others and work to better understand the values of others without judgment. I believe that everyone deserves a safe place where they can freely express themselves without feeling judged or misunderstood while also being a place for them to grow. I specialize in depression, anxiety, family issues, relationship issues, school/work, life transitions, drug use, parenting difficulties, behavioral concerns, self-esteem issues, and anger management. I strive to fit the needs of each client individually and help them achieve their goals in the most effective way possible. I work on a sliding scale.
In our first session, we’ll begin by exploring your goals and expectations for therapy. From there, we’ll focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in trust and safety. The aim is to create a supportive space where you feel comfortable beginning your journey. There’s no pressure—just an open, honest conversation between two people.
Working with me looks like a safe place where you can let go of all your worries and learn to deal with them. I like to make the conversations as natural as possible, validating your experiences but also holding you accountable when needed. I help you identify what you want to change and ways to go about changing it.
I am passionate about working with clients from all backgrounds, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, or race. Some of my clients come to therapy eager to grow but unsure of where to start, while others have the tools for change but face challenges in applying them. Wherever they are in their journey, my goal is to support and empower each individual to grow into the best version of themselves.
The goal is to work on changing thoughts, which can change behaviors. Challenge negative core beliefs and work on increase positive core beliefs.
