Florida as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor as well as a certified addiction professional, and a qualified supervisor in Florida. I have more than 20 years of experience in counseling in the fields of mental health, substance abuse, and co-occurring issues. Channeling these early experiences, I have written and self-published the book Humbug to Happiness. The book is an extension of the author, David A Gibbs passionate belief that everyone is entitled and deserves to live a life of happiness! I have worked in multiple settings, including home-based crisis stabilization, private and nonprofit organizations, and private practice. I have presented at both local and national conferences, addressing mental health and substance abuse, and its impact on the communities.

I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 12+ years of experience. My specialties consist of psychosomatic illnesses, relationships, and career counseling. I received my Bachelors degree in Child Psychology, initially working with the teen/young adult population. I then transitioned over to adults as I pursued my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy.
