Hi, I’m Jessica. I’m a therapist with a passion for helping others recognize their strengths, navigate challenges, and live up to their full potential. Much of my experience has been working with children, adolescents, and families within child welfare settings, where I developed a strong interest in trauma-informed care, relationship dynamics, and emotional wellness. Outside of therapy, I’m a proud dog and cat mom who enjoys spending time at the beach, soaking up the sun, and practicing yoga. I value balance, personal growth, and meaningful connection, and I hope to someday live on an island where life moves a little slower and more intentionally.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and talking about what brought you to counseling. I’ll complete a biopsychosocial assessment, which helps me understand your background, current concerns, relationships, strengths, and any relevant medical, mental health, or social history. This session is also a space for you to share your goals, ask questions, and get a sense of how I work. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, heard, and supported as we begin to build a therapeutic relationship together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and systems-focused, with an emphasis on helping children, adolescents, and families understand behavior in context, strengthen relationships, and build practical tools for emotional regulation and long-term change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, and parents navigating life transitions, behavioral challenges, crisis situations, and relationship dynamics. I especially value helping families strengthen communication, build emotional understanding, and create healthier patterns of connection and support. My ideal clients are children, adolescents, and families seeking support during challenging life experiences, behavioral concerns, relationship conflicts, or periods of crisis. I strive to provide a supportive and trauma-informed environment where clients feel safe exploring emotions, improving communication, and building resilience.
