My name is Wes Conway (US Army Veteran), and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a passion for helping individuals navigate and overcome mental health challenges. Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first psychotherapy session, the focus is on getting to know one another and laying the groundwork for treatment. The therapist will review confidentiality, their approach, and your rights as a client, and invite you to share what brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain. You may be asked questions about your current concerns, history, and strengths, but there is no expectation to share everything at once—sessions move at a pace that feels comfortable. Together, you may begin identifying goals and what therapy will look like moving forward. The first session is also an opportunity for you to assess your comfort with the therapist and whether the relationship feels supportive and respectful.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I utilize a person-centered and trauma-informed approach, integrating therapeutic modalities like Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). My practice focuses on equipping you with the tools to process past trauma, manage current symptoms, and cultivate a sense of inner peace.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best suited to help individuals with mental health concerns that involves a collaborative and individualized approach focused on understanding each person’s unique experiences, challenges, and strengths. Together, we will identify clear treatment goals, such as reducing symptoms, improving coping skills, enhancing emotional regulation, strengthening relationships, and increasing insight and resilience. My treatment emphasizes safety, empowerment, and skill development while fostering self-awareness and meaningful, sustainable change.
