I am licensed in Florida and Utah and have 11 years of professional experience, with over 14 years in various roles within the mental health field. I specialize in helping clients with stress and anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, trauma, and borderline personality disorder. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, tailoring my dialogue and treatment plans to meet your unique needs. Taking the first step towards a more fulfilling and happier life requires courage, and the therapeutic relationship between therapist and client is of utmost importance. I am here to support you throughout this journey.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we will have a brief introduction before delving into your specific challenges. This will enable me to create a tailored plan for us to work on in future sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

As a provider, my key strengths lie in working with clients who have a history of trauma, anxiety, borderline personality disorder and depression.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I would like to concentrate on working with clients aged 18 to 64 years old.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT in my practice as a collaborative, goal-oriented approach that focuses on the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, helping you identify and change unhelpful thought patterns to enhance your overall well-being.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

I utilize Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) in my practice to assist individuals with trauma in reshaping their perceptions of themselves and the world. You might feel overly blamed for what occurred or perceive the world as a dangerous place. These thoughts can keep you trapped in PTSD, causing you to miss out on activities you once enjoyed. CPT teaches you how to manage these distressing thoughts. You'll learn skills to evaluate whether there are more constructive ways to view your trauma, and you'll examine if the facts support or contradict your thoughts. Ultimately, you'll have the opportunity to decide if adopting a new perspective makes sense.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I incorporate Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) in my practice primarily to assist clients with borderline personality disorder in developing skills to manage intense emotions, enhance interpersonal relationships, and reduce self-harm and suicidal behaviors by combining CBT techniques with mindfulness practices.
