Hi!!! I am a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida. I am also certified in emotional intelligence. I've done years of work with young adults, as well as more mature adults, who seek to have greater confidence, self-esteem, or communication skills OR may be navigating various goals that intertwine both personal and professional development. I am passionate about helping others "figure it out" and try to make sense of the world around them in a more optimistic way. Note: If by chance you are interested in working with me but might need to request other days and times we can do a consultation to explore options.
Clients can expect to have some casual, yet meaningful, dialog to ease into the process as we get better acquainted. Presuming we have had a consultation first, we would recap and confirm key information from that dialog. We would further clarify and establish what the needs and preferences are as we proceed to work towards the desired goal(s). This discovery would include desired homework style (if any at all?) and preferred approaches for engagement and learning new strategies (audio, visual, etc.).
With over 20 years of working with various populations and needs, I am committed to understanding you as an individual with your own unique life experiences. You will most likely be put at ease with the idea of tackling difficult subjects, even if you are hesitant or shy.
