I am so glad I found Christine and always look forward to meeting with her. Although our time together has been short, I can't say enough good things. She's attentive and really listens, but what I appreciate most is her directness, and that honesty helps me grow. She’s helped me work through some tough challenges with clarity and compassion. I always leave our sessions feeling understood and empowered.

I've been having a hard time with a recent break up I am going through and decided to seek therapy to help empower me and give me the tools to be able to heal and grow as an individual, And Ms. Christine Altidor's profile when I came across it really connected deeply with me and pretty much symbolized everything I had been seeking and everything I needed to hear. Ms. Altidor has been very kind and compassionate with me and my situation but also direct as well as humorous. I would 100% recommend.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Not every thought you think is true. CBT helps identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts to change maladaptive behaviors. Gaining control over your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors is the catalyst to seeing the change you desire.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Through ACT, you will learn to understand your feelings, identify your values, develop healthy coping mechanisms to challenge life experiences, learn to commit to actions, so you can live out your values instead of your current emotions.

Relational

I use relational therapy to help you understand how your past experiences may prevent you from forming healthy relationships. By utilizing this method, you'll learn how to build supportive, respectful, and lasting relationships, identify unhealthy thinking patterns linked to relationships, and develop more adaptive coping skills.
