LMHC, 7 years of experience
I am a licensed mental health counselor in Florida as well as a certified EMDRIA-approved EMDR therapist. I specialize in working with people who feel overworked for other people in their life while feeling underappreciated and left alone, feeling confused about who they are and what they can do to gain a sense of control back in their life. I became a psychotherapist because I've experienced the need to have someone who can show me what I could not see because they have a genuine interest in my well-being and potential. Together we will find the root of your behavioral/emotional difficulties from scientific, psychological, and spiritual perspectives. You will uncover resources that can only be found in you to overcome the difficulties. Eventually, striving for wholeness will be the life journey that you will gladly take on outside of a therapy session.
You will have a safe space where your thoughts and feelings are heard while increasing insights into your mental difficulties, and experiencing relief from prolonged emotional suffering. Above all, I want you to have a transformative experience in finding your authentic self. I will meet where you are, and we will start a journey of healing and growth together.
As a certified EMDR therapist, EMDR is my primary modality in the treatment. My approach to using EMDR revolves around believing in a person's innate ability to self-heal given proper guidance, insights, tools, and unwavering support. EMDR is going to help you retrain your body's response to your triggers, increase insights about your difficulties and what you need to move forward. You will take an active role in reprocessing unprocessed memories that negatively affect your present life. I am going to be an ever-present-ears to hear you out, guiding you through the process of getting unstuck from your past adaptively while accompanying you as a witness and support on your healing journey.
My primary interest is helping people who are interested in moving past from their past traumas/adverse life events or feeling stuck in the negative cycle of life events while taking time to search for who they really are apart from the outside circumstances or current mental difficulties.

Seon has helped me uncover parts of myself I had hidden away for years — parts that were quietly shaping my behavior, emotions, and overall quality of life. She creates a space where I feel safe and can be honest, even when it’s hard. Because of her, I’m learning how to come back to myself. I can’t recommend her enough to anyone who’s ready to understand themselves more deeply and feel genuinely cared for along the way.

I liked that she had a special specialty in Jungian psychology.

This month has been incredibly difficult to balance my emotional well-being and work. Each session this month I've struggled with different emotions in extreme intensities. Seon ceases to amaze me when I look up from crying into my hands and see she's intently litened to every word I've said with compassion and patience. I'm beyond grateful to have Seon as my therapist, her kindess and ability to create and hold a safe space is a gift.
EMDR is designed to desensitize a person from unwanted upsetting/distressing memory or emotional/physical reactions and change maladaptive beliefs to adaptive beliefs while engaging in the introspection.
Jungian approach allows a person tap into the deeper sense of self where a person can gain more insight on one's emotional/behavioral difficulties and find inner resources.
Mindfulness is becoming more intentional on placing one's attention by increasing self-awareness and acceptance of one's internal experiences. This approach will increase one's capacity to deal with unwanted/distressing internal experiences including emotions, thoughts, bodily sensations and gain sense of centeredness as by-products.
Polyvagal theory will increase knowledge on our biological makeup in emotion regulation and would allow a person to be more equipped in retraining body's response in emotion regulation.
