Hello, I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. My approach to therapy is person-centered and psychodynamic, and I use various modalities to help people become more connected to their true selves. My goal is to offer a supportive environment where people can fully express themselves, gain insight, and take steps toward healing and personal growth. In therapy, I work with people to explore, make sense of, and identify how their upbringing may be contributing to problems in living. This awareness can lead to healing and be a catalyst for change. I also use mindfulness-based CBT to help people become aware of and challenge thoughts that aren’t true and are contributing to depression, anxiety and low self-esteem.

I am an LCSW from CA. I am a rarity, as I was born and raised in Los Angeles and have lived all over southern California. I have also traveled throughout the state and known how the state is unique. I have experience working with the military, Veterans, and their families. I also have experience working with families and children of all ages. My journey to mental healthcare I did a lot of volunteer work and held a few AmeriCorps positions (America's version of PeaceCorps). I fell in love with helping people and I was told in order to achieve this, I would need to go back to school and complete my MSW.

I’m Dr. Andy Davis, a licensed psychologist with 18 years of experience in the mental health field. Thirteen of those years were spent serving in the U.S. Air Force, where I had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences. My clinical focus includes depression, anxiety, PTSD, stress, grief, personality disorders, LGBTQ+ issues, and concerns related to sex and pornography addiction. As a sex-positive therapist, I provide a safe and affirming environment for clients to explore sensitive areas of their lives without fear of judgment. My therapeutic style is both solutions-focused and rooted in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). I believe therapy should be proactive and goal-driven, helping clients not only gain insight but also develop strategies for change. Clients often describe me as direct and honest, while also compassionate and collaborative—I strive to give practical feedback and advice that can be applied both in and outside of sessions. I especially enjoy working with veterans, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and young adults. These groups often face unique challenges, and I consider it an honor to walk alongside them as they navigate life’s complexities. In addition to my clinical work, I have an extensive background in clinical research. While serving in the Air Force, I conducted sleep studies and developed modern treatment approaches for PTSD and traumatic brain injuries. This research continues to inform my practice, and I place strong emphasis on developing healthy routines, quality sleep schedules, and consistent self-care as foundations for mental health. I often work with clients to build structure into daily life, recognizing these habits play a powerful role in resilience and long-term well-being. Above all, my goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where clients feel empowered to face challenges, discover new perspectives, and build lasting resilience.

"Life is a journey, travel it well." I believe we're all on our own individual journeys of life that sometimes put us in valleys and sometimes on top of hills. When it comes to the valleys, sometimes it's alright to reach out to someone for a little guidance and help. Hi, my name is Ryan and I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist. One of my favorite parts of my own journey has been navigating the complexities of young adult life stages from college, to work, romance and beyond. I’m a Latino therapist who specializes in working with trauma, identity, and the emotional weight that comes from growing up in high-stress environments. I help people make sense of patterns rooted in past experiences — whether that’s family dysfunction, grief, street violence, or cultural pressure — so they can move through life with more clarity and less emotional reactivity. My style is honest, direct, and grounded. I’m not the kind of therapist who just nods and listens — I’ll challenge you when needed and help you get to the core of what’s keeping you stuck. I work especially well with first-generation men, individuals processing childhood or gang-related trauma, and those navigating the tension between cultural loyalty and personal growth. I’ve spent the last five years working across community mental health, jail reentry, and school-based settings — including the LA County Department of Mental Health, homeless outreach in South Central, and now as a therapist in a middle school. My approach is shaped by both clinical training and real-life experience supporting clients in some of the most challenging situations.

Along life’s journey, we can experience feelings of sadness, confusion, fear, self-doubt, anger, shame, loneliness, distrust and uncertainty in ourselves, others and/or society at large. At times, past trauma, grief and fear can be activated, leaving us feeling stuck, or leading us to impulsive and/or unhelpful decisions to change the way we feel-at least in the moment. If you’re encountering emotions, behaviors or patterns that leave you, your relationships, and/or life goals out of alignment with what you hope for, I invite you to partner with me in a compassion-based therapeutic space. My approach is to support you in moving through your challenges with greater ease, finding and discerning your truths, uncovering additional strengths, gaining practical skills, and enlivening a deeper sense of meaning and purpose in your life. I have been fortunate to work with people from different cultures, religions, philosophical orientations, traditional and non-traditional family forms, youth to elders, and all sides of the socio-economic spectrum. I love people, their stories, and believe that within each human being, gifts are given to be recognized, expressed and increase positive emotion and a felt sense of holistic well-being.

I am a compassionate, collective liberationist-oriented psychotherapist. I pull from politically leftist, critical psychology as well as humanistic and existentialist frameworks. I center marginalized persons, including BIPOC and LGBTQIA persons. I am a former vanlifer and a world traveler. I am a mom to an adult son; I've been coupled and married for almost two decades to the same woman (and we're still in love!). Finally, I love Atlanta-style, rhythm dance-skating on quads! I believe that if you are ready to start to find and embrace your authentic self, you can create a significant transformation in your life. If you think we'd be a good fit, I'd love to help you. Hi! I’m a licensed therapist who believes therapy should feel like a real conversation, not a performance. I bring warmth, honesty, and a sense of humor into the room, and I work best with people who are ready to get curious about themselves, even if they’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start. Before becoming a therapist, I earned a BFA in Film & Television Production. I especially enjoy working with creatives and folks in non-traditional careers, but I love supporting people from all walks of life. Prior to shifting to telehealth, I worked in residential treatment with individuals recovering from drug and alcohol addiction. That experience deeply shaped my compassionate and non-judgmental approach. My style is collaborative and flexible, drawing from CBT, solution-focused therapy, ACT, and person-centered methods to meet you where you are. Outside of therapy, you can usually find me hanging out with my husband and our dogs, listening to and discovering new music, making playlists, going to shows, making jewelry, passionately cheering on my favorite sports teams, or catching a movie on the big screen. Life can feel like a lot sometimes, and I’m here to help you sort through it at your pace, with no judgment and a little humor when it helps.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and first-generation Filipino American, I bring a culturally sensitive approach to guiding individuals toward healing, resilience, and personal growth. I specialize in trauma-informed care, mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), EMDR, and Brainspotting—advanced, evidence-based interventions designed to address the root causes of trauma, addiction, anxiety, and depression. With experience working with individuals from various backgrounds, I’m passionate about helping clients process life-altering events, break free from past trauma, challenge unhelpful core beliefs, and manage ongoing stress. My mission is to empower clients to build meaningful lives and strengthen their relationships. Are you feeling stuck under the weight of addiction, anxiety, or depression? Are emotional blocks keeping you from living the life you want? You do not need to go through each day merely trying to survive —you can thrive in life! Therapy is a compassionate, non-judgmental space where healing can flourish, and you can learn to navigate life’s challenges with greater ease and self-awareness. Healing is possible, with just a little persistence, and hope. I am here to support you every step of the way!

Life often brings us questions—the "whys" behind our anxiety, depression, and relationship struggles. We try to make sense of the senseless, but the answers remain elusive. My practice, WhysCounselor, acknowledges the "whys" that bring you to therapy while guiding you to discover your deeper, motivating "why"—your reason for seeking change. Here’s the truth: while we may never answer every "why," we absolutely can change how those unanswered questions have affected you. You might think that if others would change, or if your difficult feelings would just disappear, things would be better. But there is one thing you can change that will fundamentally improve everything: the way you see yourself. I work with people dealing with anxiety, depression, and relationship issues who are motivated and ready to do the work. My focus is on helping you manage symptoms and find practical tools for daily life. Make meaningful changes in your behaviors to reflect the person you want to be. Heal the most neglected relationship in your life: the one with yourself. Our work together will be about building a healthy relationship with yourself first. I am trained in Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT or Tapping), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)

If you're looking for a holistic, decolonized and evidence based approach at managing your mental health symptoms: you've come to the right place. My approach in therapy is centered around the transformative power of creativity and connectivity. I believe that healing and growth are best achieved through breaking generational patterns, self reflection, and strengthening the skills to navigate the systems in which we live. I take a relational and evidence based approach to treatment, center your voice, and guide a process of co-creating your healing journey. I encourage clients to explore their inner worlds and express themselves authentically; while also establishing solid supports, and grounding awareness within the context of their lives.

Hello and welcome! I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in California. I provide individual, child, teen, family, and couples therapy, both in person and online. I have clinical experience in a variety of settings and am passionate about helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, and cultural identity issues. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and culturally responsive. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, understand your emotions, and build on your strengths. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based techniques, I help clients unlearn negative thought patterns, develop emotional regulation skills, and reconnect with their inner resilience. If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, sad, or irritable, I will help you find tools to regulate your nervous system and bring balance back into your daily life. If you’ve experienced trauma, we will work together to process or reprocess your experiences in a way that promotes safety and healing. My goal is for you to know that your voice matters — you do not need to suffer in silence. 🌼 A Little About Me I’m a first-generation Mexican American, a mother and dog mom, a lover of nature and a runner. I understand firsthand that change can be difficult and that making time for therapy, self-care, and healing takes courage. Like many of my clients, I have faced life’s obstacles, grief, and stresses — and I believe that healing is possible for everyone. Taking the first step can feel intimidating, but it’s also the beginning of transformation. You already have the ability to heal — and I’m honored to walk beside you on that journey.
