My treatment methods

EMDR

Some clients either really like the "buzzy" bilateral tappers and some hate it. I have been told "these things make me talk". EMDR helps clients to recognize things that otherwise would just go unnoticed such as anger, low concept of self, guilt, and shame and there are many more ideologies that we have taken on from our trauma. Understanding where anger etc. comes from and why these ideologies may cause triggers that create tremendous amounts of pain. EMDR can come to the root of when the trigger started and EMDR with help a client to heal mind, body and soul. EMDR helps one recognize that we are not our trauma.

Brainspotting

I have seen client process deep rooted trauma that they did not even know. They were able to come to "aha" moments within 15 minutes of beginning to process. Once the client understands mindfulness we will begin to explore how one has used "gaze spotting" their whole life to either retrieve information that was memorized or to help process through things without even knowing that he or she was even processing. Once the client understands this and is willing to see where this will lead I will gently help the client begin to process with Brain Spotting.

Eclectic

I utilize many different treatments. Everyone is different. There is no cookie cutter treatment that fits all clients. The treatments I use are catered to the individual and what treatments will best serve the individual client.

Neurofeedback

Direct Neurofeedback helps accelerate the healing process of trauma. I have been utilizing this treatrment for over 2 years and the clients that receive this treatment heal a lot faster in combination with EMDR, CBT, and Brain Spotting. This treatment calms the nervous sytem down so one can become aware of what their triggers are and how these triggers affects their daily life. When one is able to reconize how their body carries the trauma, EMDR and Brain Spotting becomes very affcetive for processing the unresolved traum that has been carried possibly for many years.
