About me

I’m a licensed therapist who helps individuals navigate anxiety, relationship challenges, identity, and life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in evidence-based practices like CBT and narrative therapy. I create a space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported as you work toward healing and growth. I speak Urdu, Punjabi, and Hindi, which allows me to connect deeply with clients from diverse South Asian backgrounds in a language that feels like home.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect a warm, judgment-free space where we’ll begin to explore what brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain. I’ll ask some questions to understand better your story, your needs, and your goals. Most importantly, we’ll go at your pace—building trust, safety, and a strong foundation for the work ahead.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a provider include deep empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a collaborative, personalized approach to care. With over ten years of experience and certifications in trauma and anxiety treatment, I tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs, offering practical strategies and compassionate support. Fluent in English, Urdu, and Punjabi, I create a safe, respectful space for clients from diverse backgrounds to heal, grow, and make lasting change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I have 8 years of experience working with substance use, previously served as a school counselor supporting teenagers, and have provided telehealth therapy for the past 6 years. I’m also a Ph.D. candidate specializing in Marriage, Couples, and Family Counseling. I’m best positioned to support clients navigating anxiety, cultural identity, relationship struggles, and life transitions—especially those from immigrant or South Asian backgrounds who are seeking a space that understands the nuances of family, faith, and belonging.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is a core part of my work. I use it to help clients gently challenge unhelpful thoughts, shift patterns, and reconnect with their strengths. It’s not about “fixing” anyone—it’s about learning how to respond to life with more clarity and compassion. I walk with my clients as they face fears, build new habits, and rediscover hope. Together, we make space for change—one honest step at a time.
