I'm so glad you're here! I’m Ms. Lewis, a compassionate and dedicated therapist with a deep commitment to supporting individuals on their journey toward healing and growth. With a warm and nonjudgmental approach, I create a safe space where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions openly. I became a therapist because I genuinely love helping individuals become the best version of themselves, feel heard, and find significance in their lives. Being a therapist allows me to witness and support the incredible resilience of the human spirit. It is a privilege to guide clients toward clarity, healing, and a renewed sense of purpose.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session, we will focus on getting to know you, your background, and the reasons that have brought you to therapy. I will ask about your concerns, goals, and any previous experiences with therapy. This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, share at your own pace, and begin to establish a trusting and comfortable therapeutic relationship.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I approach goal setting as a collaborative process, ensuring that your personal values and aspirations guide our work together. We will identify clear, achievable objectives and regularly review progress to adapt as needed. My goal is to help you build confidence and develop practical tools to move toward meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with adults facing anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Whether you’re struggling with stress, self-esteem, or personal growth, I am here to provide guidance and support.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I draw on CBT principles to help guide conversations, provoke self-reflection, and encourage users to explore and question their thought patterns.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

My experience using ACT teaches the client that these experiences are a natural part of being human. My goal is to help the clients develop psychological flexibility—the ability to stay present, remain open to their inner experiences, and take value-based actions regardless of the discomfort they might feel. ACT means shifting the focus from symptom reduction to living a meaningful, values-oriented

Couples Counseling

"I’ve always been fascinated by human relationships and the complexity of connection. After studying psychology, I realized that I wanted to specialize in helping couples navigate the challenges of intimacy, communication, and conflict resolution." "I believe that creating a safe, non-judgmental space for couples to explore their emotions is essential. My approach focuses on fostering emotional connection and improving communication, and I often integrate practical tools for conflict resolution to help couples feel heard and understood."

Motivational Interviewing

In my work, I use MI to support clients in identifying their reasons for change. For example, when working with individuals struggling with substance use, I focus on exploring ambivalence rather than confronting it. I guide clients through open-ended questions, affirm their strengths, reflect their statements to clarify their motivations, and summarize key insights to help build momentum. The use of Motivational Interviewing has been particularly effective in increasing engagement and readiness for further treatment.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

In practice, I adapt treatment plans collaboratively, ensuring that interventions align with the client’s values, cultural background, pace, and readiness for change. Whether I’m providing counseling, case management, or supporting behavioral change, I always return to the person-centered principle that true healing and growth come from within the client, not from external pressure. By honoring each client’s lived experience and fostering a strong therapeutic alliance, I’ve seen how person-centered care can lead to greater engagement, self-efficacy, and lasting change.
