I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years experience in health care. My goal is to help patients live their best lives by treating the whole person. We will work together to determine the treatment plan that best suits your individual needs. I will provide individualized care, not "one size fits all" approach to medication management. All visits will be provided via telehealth.
In our first appointment we will send some time getting to know each other. I would like to hear about your past experieces with mental health care, including what was helpful and what wasn't. I would also like to hear about your current symptoms and future goals. Finally, based on the information gathered we will discuss possible treatment options. After this discussion, we will make a decision together. This ensures that you are comfortable with the treatment pan before we end the session and have hadan opportunity to ask any and all questions.
Have you ever been to a doctor/provider and felt unheard? Or maybe you didn't even get a chance to discuss your needs and desires? I have too, which is why I decided to become a provider and change mental healthcare for the better. I will listen to you and we will make treatment decisions together. My goal is to provide compassionate care to anyone in need.
