My name is Megan (she/her). I am a licensed clinical social worker providing safe, accessible, private practice teletherapy. I believe it is important to create a safe, accepting, and compassionate space for all clients to discover and process their challenges. My practice specializes in the styles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and substance abuse counseling. It is an honor to be a part of this journey with you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Our first session together will be a collaborative effort to ensure that we are a good match for one another. I will spend time getting to know you, and understanding the needs that brought you to therapy; ensuring that I am the right provider to embark on this journey with. We will develop an action plan to meet your goals together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe concrete and lasting change in our lives is achievable. Together, we will begin a journey focused on understanding yourselves, your relationships, and your history. We each have a unique story. Through therapy, that journey of discovery, processing, and integration can help uncover, heal, and reconnect.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use the Acceptance and commitment treatment model to encourage clients to observe thoughts, feelings, and reactions with acceptance, rather than trying to control these patterns.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT treatment approach allow me to guide clients to focus on current problems, using a variety of strategies to manage and improve the outcomes of these problems in their daily lives.

Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy

Rational emotive Behavior therapy is used to guide clients to look at connections between their emotions and thoughts, to the behavior patterns that they seek to change.
