In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and understand your goals for therapy. I’ll ask you about what’s brought you to seek support, and together, we’ll explore the challenges you’re facing and what you hope to achieve in our work together. It’s a space for you to share your story at your own pace, and there’s no pressure to dive into anything too heavy right away. I believe in creating a comfortable, non-judgmental environment where you can feel safe and supported. During our first meeting, we’ll also discuss logistics, such as confidentiality, session structure, and what you can expect going forward. My goal is to ensure you feel heard, understood, and clear about how we’ll work together to move toward your therapeutic goals. It’s a starting point - where we lay the foundation for building trust, understanding, and progress in the work we’ll do together.
