New to Grow
My name is Brendalan Jackson, a seasoned professional who offers quality therapeutic services, working with families and individuals to restore hope during difficult times. I create a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space. As a trained Functional Family Therapist (FFT) and a consultant with FFT, LLC, I hold licenses as a clinical social worker in Delaware, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, you can expect a calm and supportive conversation focused on getting to know you. I’ll ask about what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any concerns you’d like to address. We’ll talk through your history at a pace that feels comfortable for you and begin identifying the areas you want to work on. My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and supported as we create a plan for your care together.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I combine seasoned clinical experience with a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental style. As a trained Functional Family Therapist (FFT), I use evidence-based methods to help individuals and families understand their patterns, strengthen communication, and restore hope during difficult times. Clients appreciate that I create a safe space where they feel supported and empowered to make meaningful change.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I am best positioned to support individuals and families who are experiencing stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, or major life transitions. I also work well with clients who are motivated to better understand their thoughts, feelings, and behavior patterns. Whether your goal is to improve communication, manage emotions, strengthen family dynamics, or develop healthier coping skills, I provide a supportive and structured approach to help you move forward with clarity and confidence.
Family Therapy
As a certified Functional Family Therapist and national consultant with FFT, I use a relational, family-centered approach to help families strengthen communication, resolve conflict, and build healthier patterns together.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I help individuals understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we identify patterns that trigger negative thinking and develop healthier, more effective coping strategies. My goal is to support clarity, insight, and meaningful, lasting change
