It is my clinical perspective that the mind, body, and spirit are significant to well-being. I am very strong in my faith as a believer and follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. Each individual's narrative, perspective, and voice, matters. I love helping those struggling to adapt and adjust to life stressors, transitions, and difficulties. I hold a doctorate in Marriage & Family Counseling. I love what I do and I have been providing counseling to children, teenagers, young adults, couples, and families, for over 27 years.
’ve felt called to become a therapist since I was nine years old, and that sense of purpose has stayed with me ever since. I began my career in a community mental health setting, where I worked closely with individuals experiencing severe mental illness and learned the importance of practical, real-life coping skills. That experience continues to shape my approach today—I focus on helping clients build insight, develop tools they can actually use, and feel more confident navigating their relationships and daily lives.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy slowing things down and staying grounded through gardening, crocheting, and camping. I’m also a big reader—especially when it comes to romance novels. Family is a central part of my life, and I value the many roles I hold as a wife, mother, stepmother, and grandmother. Raising both boys and girls—including twins—has given me a wide range of life experiences that help me connect with clients from all kinds of backgrounds.
Hi, I am Amber. I am a Christian-oriented therapist who seeks to help others feel empowered to make changes to better their lives. If you are struggling in an intimate relationship, have trauma holding you in bondage, or are trying to break free from addiction then I would love the opportunity to work with you in your counseling journey.
I have worked with clients of all backgrounds and in various settings. I also work with many clients in the LGBTQ community. I also have extensive experience with clients who have dual diagnosis and are high risk.
Do you struggle with sexual addictions? Are you currently questioning your sexual orientation or identity? Have you experienced trauma that continues to affect your quality of life? Are you struggling in a relationship and searching for answers? Do you have a severe mental illness, such as dissociative identity disorder or schizophrenia? If any of these questions apply to you, then please schedule an appointment to get started on your healing journey.

I have been married to my wonderful husband for 14 years and have 5 children from all stages of life (toddler to a college student). On my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and children, doing mini vacations, doing crafts, going on walks and working out when I can, volunteering at my children's schools and activities, and spending quiet time with God.
I give my clients a comfortable space to take their time talking and explaining their situation. I like to ask questions that lead down to a deeper understanding and come up with a solution and plan that they are comfortable with. I have heard of all types of situations and am non-judgmental. Hello, I am a trauma-informed Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Therapist. I focus on clients who have experienced relational trauma, childhood, adolescent, and adult anxiety, depression, chronic, complex, intergenerational, and transgenerational trauma, and PTSD. I see counseling as a process in which you, the client, and I, the LCSW-Therapist, having come to understand and trust one another, work as a team to explore and define present problem situations, develop future goals for an improved life, and work systematically toward realizing those goals.
I describe myself as a grounded, authentic, and collaborative therapist who balances a warm heart with a highly practical, real world approach to healing. I’m not the type to just sit back and nod silently; I am right there in the trenches with you, bringing my genuine, slightly nerdy self to every session, and I believe everyone has an inner resilience waiting to be unlocked!
My life is full, beautifully chaotic, and deeply rewarding. As a spouse and a mother of four, including a wonderful child who is autistic, I intimately understand what it feels like to manage a million moving parts. I know the exhaustion of a racing mind, the weight of sensory and emotional overload, and the delicate art of balancing family, transitions, and personal growth. Because of these lived experiences, I bring a deeply human, judgment-free perspective to my practice.
In sessions, we will use evidence-based tools like CBT and DBT to actively build a practical toolkit for your daily life. We will work as a team to quiet the internal noise, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and master concrete skills to regulate intense emotions.
For clients who desire it, I gladly incorporate a Christ-centered approach, utilizing scripture and prayer as an anchor for our clinical work. However, if you are currently facing a painful crisis of faith or spiritual burnout, I offer a safe harbor to process those doubts without a shred of judgment.
Ultimately, I meet you exactly where you are. My goal is to help you calm the chaos, break through emotional blocks, and reclaim your peace.

My love for Jesus is my first priority, and pleasing God is at the center of my life and work. I believe that true healing and transformation come through His guidance and grace. My therapeutic approach is grounded in compassion, clear communication, and personalized strategies, integrating Christian faith, recovery principles, and cultural awareness to create a holistic and supportive environment.

I approach clients with the an open mindset, looking to explore what the client needs and what they want for themselves. I always want my clients to know there is no judgement from me in their decisions, EVER. I view everyone's mistakes as us just being human and having a human experience. This practice of examining our human journey and what motivates us to do the things we do is extended to myself, my clients and my children/family. I often attempt to have the practice of asking myself "why did I do that? Did I do that because of this or because I was feeling blank?" I think it is important to help others get to the place where they ask themselves the same type of questions. We're all here just having human experiences!
Hello, I'm Deborah Anderson. I've been a therapist for 20+ years. I went back to school following a medical retirement from the automotive industry. What if you could write the story of your life? The truth is, you can, you are in control of your destiny, you are writing the story of your life right now. The choices you make are directly related to the thoughts you have. That puts you in control, you have the ability to change the way you think, and when you change the way you think, you change your life.
The thoughts you are thinking right now are writing the story of your life. If you are not happy with the story, you can reprogram your thoughts to change the story and write it the way you want it to go. Together you and I can work to manage the challenges you are facing today.
Therapy may seem scary or even overwhelming, but with the right partner you really can change your life. Together we will explore how your thoughts and the dimensions of wellness are affecting your life and find a path to change the story of your life, to one of positive emotional and mental well-being.
