I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Texas. I hold a M. Ed in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have experience helping clients with family conflicts, trauma and abuse, coping with grief and loss, intimacy related issues, and couples counseling. I believe that you are the expert of your story, you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming the challenges you currently face. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in your quest for emotional and mental well-being. Life has many challenges, but there is always hope, help, and the potential for total healing. Allow me the opportunity to help you help yourself.
In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions, conduct an in-depth intake assessment, move into the specifics of why you have chosen to enter therapy, and finally, we will together construct a treatment plan to guide our sessions and help you reach your goals.
Having worked with couples and families as well as individuals dealing with various challenges, I have been able to aid clients in identifying the root cause of their challenges and create a plan to help them move forward in a more positive and productive manner. I am a great listener, empathetic, and nonjudgemental. I possess great insight and treat every client dignity and respect.
I love working with couples and families who are facing challenges but also want to restore their marriages, and their families. I also love working with clients struggling with trauma, self-worth and acceptance, along with grief and loss, and adult ADHD just to name a few.

CBT allows for many different avenues of treatment; in practice I use journaling, coping strategies, relaxation techniques, restructuring and reframing, and challenging and countering negative thoughts to aid clients in helping themselves through adverse challenges. I use CBT with both individuals, and couples.
I use Christian Counseling in practice along with CBT to aid clients who are dealing with life struggles and or faith struggles, through scriptural references, and meditation.
Used in practice by helping clients to decrease behaviors such as blaming, criticizing, stonewalling, avoidance, while also teaching communication skills and gratitude expressions.
