New to Grow
I bring warmth, empathy, authenticity, and a down-to-earth approach to each session. I balance compassionate support with practical strategies, helping clients feel understood while also encouraging meaningful growth and change. My approach is collaborative and individualized—I meet you where you are, adapt therapy to your needs, and create a space where you can show up as yourself without fear of judgment. I also understand that therapy is not one-size-fits-all. I draw from evidence-based approaches while considering your unique experiences, culture, relationships, strengths, and values. I believe in being genuine and present with my clients, while gently challenging patterns that may no longer serve them. Together, we’ll build greater self-awareness, confidence, emotional regulation, and skills you can use beyond the therapy room.
During our first session, my goal is to create a comfortable and welcoming space where you can be yourself without feeling judged or pressured. We’ll spend time getting to know each other, discussing what brought you to therapy, and exploring the experiences, concerns, and goals that are most important to you. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you come in—we’ll work together to determine what support looks like for you and begin creating a plan that feels realistic and meaningful.

My ideal client is someone who may feel overwhelmed, anxious, stuck, or exhausted from trying to manage everything on their own. You might be navigating anxiety, ADHD, trauma, relationship challenges, difficult life transitions, or patterns you’re ready to better understand. You don’t need to have everything figured out or even know exactly what you want from therapy. I enjoy working with clients who are willing to be curious about themselves and open to growth—even if they’re unsure where to begin. Together, we can work toward understanding your emotions and patterns, strengthening coping and communication skills, building confidence, and creating healthier ways of navigating life. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and connected to the person you want to become.
I offer Christian counseling for clients who want their faith to be an intentional part of the therapeutic process. With your preferences and comfort level guiding our work, we can integrate Christian values, prayer, Scripture, and conversations about faith alongside evidence-based therapeutic approaches. I also provide space to explore spiritual struggles, questions, or experiences without judgment. Faith integration is always client-led, and my goal is to support your mental, emotional, relational, and spiritual well-being in a way that honors both your beliefs and your therapeutic goals.
I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help you better understand your emotions, attachment needs, and the patterns that influence how you connect with others. Together, we’ll explore what may be happening beneath conflict, disconnection, or strong emotional reactions and identify the deeper needs that can be difficult to express. Whether working individually or with couples, I create a supportive space to practice healthier communication, strengthen emotional awareness, and build more secure and meaningful connections with yourself and the people who matter to you.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you better understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we’ll identify patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, trauma-related concerns, or other challenges and explore healthier, more balanced ways of responding. I combine reflection with practical strategies you can use outside of sessions, such as reframing unhelpful thoughts, developing coping skills, and practicing new behaviors. My approach to CBT is collaborative and flexible, allowing us to build skills that fit your individual needs, experiences, and goals.
I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to help you identify what is already working, recognize your strengths, and focus on practical steps toward the changes you want to see. Rather than spending all of our time focused on the problem, we’ll explore your goals, past successes, available resources, and moments when the concern feels more manageable. Together, we’ll create realistic, achievable steps that build on your existing abilities and help you move forward with greater confidence and a clearer sense of direction.
I use a humanistic approach to create a warm, genuine, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe being fully yourself. Rather than viewing you only through your symptoms or diagnosis, I focus on understanding you as a whole person, including your experiences, relationships, values, culture, strengths, and goals. I believe you are the expert on your own life, so therapy is collaborative rather than prescriptive. Through empathy, authenticity, reflection, and unconditional positive regard, I help you deepen your self-awareness, recognize your strengths, and make choices that feel meaningful and aligned with who you want to become.
