I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor working with adults who function well in demanding roles but experience internal strain related to anxiety, ADHD, sleep issues, or sustained stress. Many of my clients are in high-pressure environments such as healthcare, first response, STEM, or other responsibility-heavy fields, and are seeking support that goes beyond surface-level coping.
My work is informed by formal training in clinical counseling at the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a research background in STEM fields. This combination shapes a structured, systems-oriented approach that integrates neuroscience, evidence-based therapy, and careful attention to how complex internal patterns develop and persist under pressure.
I work with individuals across diverse backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ clients, and approach identity as an important part of lived context rather than the problem itself. Therapy is a space for clarity, safety, and meaningful change, especially for those who appear capable on the outside but feel taxed or constrained internally.

My name is Dr. Olushola Bakare, and I'm a board-certified Psychotherapist. I attended St Joseph College. I'm happy to help you today with any of your concerns. I enjoy empowering people and digging out their strengths. I don't ask fish to fly, neither do I ask birds to swim. I respect everyone's strengths and help my client recognize them. I love to highlight my client's strengths. I offer a safe, warm, therapeutic, judgment-free space for Adults (18+) and Older Adults (65+). I am sorry, but I do not accept clients who pay in cash. Also, every late cancellation or no-show accrues a late charge fee.
It is my ethical duty to officially terminate our therapeutic relationship when it is reasonably clear that the client is no longer beneficent, services are no longer required, counseling no longer serves the client's needs and interests, or Dr. Olushola Bakare, LMFT limits do not allow the provision of further counseling services.
It is the policy of Dr. Olushola Bakare, LMFT, that our professional relationship will be terminated after a one-month consistent lapse of meeting with a client. Dr. Olushola Bakare, LMFT, will attempt to notify you of this change in status as soon as possible after one month. My ethical duty is identifying, being available, and caring for current clients. It could feel awkward for our relationship to end, yet it is not meant to be discourteous in any way. I do not complete disability forms (Social Security, work excuse, FMLA, Court papers/legal papers, emotional support letters, etc).
NO COUPLE THERAPY OR MEDICATION MANAGEMENT, PLEASE!

Hello! I’m Michelina, though you can call me Michelle. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 12 years of experience, based in Pennsylvania. I hold a Master’s degree from Fordham University, and my focus is on helping adults navigate the challenges of anxiety and depression. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in New Jersey. I received my Master's degree from Caldwell University and have been practicing for 7 years. I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in various settings. I currently work with adults struggling with anxiety, depression, stress-management, and self-discovery. My goal is to provide a supportive and safe environment for clients to create positive change, gain self-awareness, and lead a more balanced, fulfilling life.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in both PA and NJ. I have been in private practice since 2001. I work with ages 15 years and older and I LOVE my career. I work with teens and young adults who are transitioning and have seen these clients through the entire process of not being accepted by peers and, very sadly family, to live incredible full lives. I have a past client's wedding to go to in May :) I get to witness my clients live the lives they've always wanted and I'm a small part of that. I absolutely love my job.
Hi! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey with over 20 years of experience working with adolescents and adults in a variety of settings. I use a supportive approach to build a rapport and help the client identify realistic goals based on their needs. We will look at patterns throughout your life to see what things aren’t working for you any longer to make lasting change.
Let me guess: You've been thinking about therapy for a while now. Maybe months, maybe years, but something kept stopping you…too busy, too expensive, "it's not that bad yet," or maybe just the fear of opening up to a stranger who might judge you or not really get it.
Here's what I want you to know: You're already doing the hardest part by being here, you don't need to wait until things get worse, you don't need permission to ask for help, and you definitely don't have to figure this out alone. That's literally what I'm here for.
As a board-certified bilingual therapist (MS, LMHC, LPC, NCC) licensed in Florida, Texas, and New Jersey, an Army veteran, and the founder of Time to Talk Therapy, I have spent over 10 years supporting more than 3,000 clients through trauma, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions that once felt impossible to navigate. I've worked everywhere from crisis units and corrections facilities to refugee shelters and quiet therapy rooms, supporting people through chronic mental illness, personality disorders, abuse, trauma, ADHD, OCD, addictions, and some of the hardest moments of their lives... and here's what I know for sure: healing doesn't require perfection, it requires honesty and someone who actually gets it. You're not broken, you're dealing with hard things, and you deserve help that feels supportive, not cold, not judgmental, not like one more thing you're supposed to "fix" about yourself.
I specialize in trauma and PTSD, anxiety and depression, self-sabotage and recurrent patterns, complex PTSD and personality disorders, as well as life transitions.
📣 I know life can get busy, so I offer weekend availability, early-morning sessions, and after-hours appointments (6:00 AM–10:00 PM), along with self-pay options to give you a little more flexibility.

My professional background in mental health began during my undergraduate and graduate studies, where I gained experience working with children through the Department of Children & Families, with older adults in skilled nursing facilities, and with adolescents in group homes. I consider myself open-minded, compassionate, and deeply empathetic. My mantra is simple: I am here for you. My role is to walk alongside you, provide tools and support, and help you manage both daily stressors and long-standing challenges. Life can feel like a roller coaster—full of unexpected changes, emotions, and pressures—but with the right support, it’s possible to find balance, peace, and overall well-being.
From CBT to DBT and everything in-between, it is my hope that I can work with you as your guide in discovering your own happiness and meeting your full potential. Our therapeutic relationship will be both collaborative and holistic. I do not have a “one approach fits all” philosophy. I hope to empower you with the ability to enrich your overall quality of life.

If you’re here, you may be carrying experiences that still show up in your body, your thoughts, or your relationships — even if those events happened long ago. You might feel on edge, numb, easily triggered, exhausted, or disconnected from yourself or others. If that sounds familiar, you’re not broken. Your nervous system learned how to survive, and now it may need support learning how to feel safe again.

I’ve been practicing for 13 years and earned my Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. I work with clients who have experienced trauma in many forms, including childhood abuse or neglect, chronic stress, relational trauma, and significant life disruptions. My approach is trauma-informed, which means I move at your pace, prioritize your sense of safety, and respect your boundaries. You are always in control of what you share and when. Therapy is not about forcing yourself to “relive” anything — it’s about helping your nervous system feel safer and helping you reclaim your sense of choice and agency.
