I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Doctorate-level clinician who provides compassionate, culturally responsive, and evidence-based care to children, adolescents, adults, and families. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, neurodivergence (including autism and ADHD), and complex family or co-parenting dynamics. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to each client’s unique needs, helping you build insight, develop practical coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change in your daily life and relationships.
Hi, I’m May Elkady, a licensed professional counselor dedicated to helping adults and teens who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or weighed down by past experiences. I support clients in understanding their emotions, breaking old patterns, and creating more balance and clarity in their lives. My goal is to provide a calm, grounding space where you can heal, grow, and reconnect with yourself.
Most importantly I am a good listener. If I do not understand, I will ask. I believe in becoming uncomfortable to accept growth and change.
I am patient and kind, but I will hold you accountable if necessary. I am here for you.
I will do my best to understand what your needs are in order and develop a treatment plan based on that order: emotional, physical, reminders, etc... and how to be ready to move through the week ahead.
A goal or an intention or again whatever word you will choose to use will be set, as to see success in small steps.
I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in New Jersey. I received my Masters from Rutgers University in 2007. I have been a clinical therapist for over a decade.
I am also a Certified School Social Worker and can offer educational support and planning, as well as child behavior modification techniques. My focus in recent years has been working with adults in a clinical setting.
I am a student who also works in the field. I understand the stress that people can experience as they deal with their daily lives. We all experience stress and depression in different ways, and I hope to help my clients understand that they are not alone in the world and that focusing on positive ways to overcome these issues can help improve their lives and relationships.
Let me guess: You've been thinking about therapy for a while now. Maybe months, maybe years, but something kept stopping you. Too busy, too expensive, "it's not that bad yet," or maybe just the fear of opening up to a stranger who might judge you or not really get it.
Here's what I want you to know: You don't need to wait until things get worse, you don't need permission to ask for help, and you don't have to figure this out alone. That's why I'm here.
As a board-certified bilingual therapist, veteran, and founder of Time to Talk Therapy, I've spent over 10 years supporting thousands of clients through trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions that once felt impossible, from crisis units and corrections facilities to refugee shelters and quiet therapy rooms, working with chronic mental illness, personality disorders, abuse, trauma, ADHD, OCD, addictions, and some of the hardest moments of their lives. Here's what I know for sure: healing doesn't require perfection, it requires honesty and someone who actually gets it. You're not broken, you're dealing with hard things, and you deserve help that feels supportive, not cold, not judgmental, not like one more thing you're supposed to "fix" about yourself.
Life is unpredictable, and I know that finding the "perfect" time can feel like one more obstacle when you're already running on empty. For a lot of people, that's the moment they close the tab and say "maybe later." Please don't do that. You've already done something brave by being here. Just message me and I'll make sure we find something that works. I'll move things around, lose a lunch break, get creative, because you showing up here tells me you're ready, and you deserve someone who shows up for you the same way. That's a promise.

I'm Dalaise Hickey, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, based in Connecticut. I obtained my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Fordham University in 2008 and have over 15 years of experience working with individuals and families. Prior to moving to Connecticut, I worked in New York City as a social worker representing youth and families involved in the criminal justice and child welfare systems. I am deeply committed to helping empower my clients and believe in taking an individualistic approach to helping you achieve your goals.
I have over 25 years of experience working with clients to address concerns stemming from anxiety, depression, grief, family and relationship issues, career changes, and other various stage-of-life concerns. My clinical area of focus involves Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Stress Management. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Professional Counselor, and Certified Addiction Specialist with over 30 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults. My practice is rooted in wellness and guided by each client’s self-identified goals. I meet individuals where they are, offering compassionate therapy, evidence-based treatment, and personalized guidance to help them navigate life’s challenges and build meaningful change.
I’m a therapist who works at the intersection of emotional intelligence, attachment, identity, and the messy, complicated realities of relationships. My clients come to me when things feel overwhelming but they’re not willing to give up on themselves. They’re smart, self-aware, and intuitive, they just need someone who can meet them where they are, without judgment or sugarcoating. I am here to do that.
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor working with adults who function well in demanding roles but experience internal strain related to anxiety, ADHD, sleep issues, or sustained stress. Many of my clients are in high-pressure environments such as healthcare, first response, STEM, or other responsibility-heavy fields, and are seeking support that goes beyond surface-level coping.
My work is informed by formal training in clinical counseling at the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a research background in STEM fields. This combination shapes a structured, systems-oriented approach that integrates neuroscience, evidence-based therapy, and careful attention to how complex internal patterns develop and persist under pressure.
I work with individuals across diverse backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ clients, and approach identity as an important part of lived context rather than the problem itself. Therapy is a space for clarity, safety, and meaningful change, especially for those who appear capable on the outside but feel taxed or constrained internally.
