New to Grow
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to provide a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported from the very beginning. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, addiction, relationship challenges, and the effects of racism and other difficult life experiences. My approach is compassionate, culturally responsive, client-centered, and strengths-based. Together, we’ll build on your strengths, develop practical coping skills, and work toward meaningful, lasting change. I believe healing happens through collaboration, trust, and meeting you where you are. Whether you’re navigating a difficult season or working toward long-term growth, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
During our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brings you to therapy. You’ll have the opportunity to share your story at a pace that feels comfortable for you—there’s no pressure to talk about everything at once. We’ll review your concerns, explore your strengths, identify your goals, and begin developing a treatment plan that reflects what matters most to you. I’ll also answer any questions you have about the therapy process so you know what to expect moving forward. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful, with a clearer understanding of how we can work together to help you reach your goals.
I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, supported, and understood. I meet clients where they are, while encouraging growth through compassion, practical tools, and a strengths-based approach. My goal is to help you build confidence, resilience, and hope as we work toward your goals.
My ideal client is someone who is ready to invest in their personal growth and open to learning new ways to navigate life’s challenges. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, or a major life transition, I’ll meet you where you are with compassion and support. Together, we’ll build practical skills, increase resilience, and work toward meaningful, lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.
