Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

My experience with CBT is to address distorted thoughts, feelings and emotions that may hinder your growth. By challenging these thoughts and learning new skills, you can expect to see progress in a short period of time.

Daialectical Behavior (DBT)

My experience with DBT is to use it for individuals experiencing intense emotional feelings. The aim is to help the person to understand and accept difficult feelings while learning skills to manage them and making it possible to make positive changes in their life.

I've been seeing Carol for about a year now, and I can definitely say my mental health has gotten a lot better. I’m not as anxious as I used to be when I first started. I feel like I have the tools I need to deal with any mood swings that come my way. Carol is super kind and always shares new ideas for handling the stuff I bring up. She's also really funny, which makes our chats enjoyable. I honestly feel like she listens and really cares about my well-being.
