I provide a safe space for who are ready to start their therapy journey - with no judgement and readiness to walk through whatever you're bringing to the room. My primary focus has been supporting youth and adults dealing with depression, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma, but have worked with much more. I utilize person centered approaches to ensure that you feel supported along your journey. Some additional interventions include CBT, DBT, ACT, and others.

First session

Clients can expect to start with rapport building, which creates a foundation of trust and respect. We will review your history, goals, and identify a plan for treatment! Client's will feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and feel like they're writing in their diary - feeling no judgement. Teen's often find therapy as a safe space to be themselves and share their true thoughts in our non-judgmental and empowering space.

Strengths

I like to bring humor and sense of calm into the therapy room, where I treat you as the person who knows yourself or your child best, where you lead the way, and I provide support and collaborate with you to ensure your journey is both safe and effective! Additionally, I show up to every session with authenticity and care. Through these traits we are able to create a safe space, and strong therapeutic alliance.

Ideal clients

Whether you are looking to heal from the past, gain personal insight to enhance your present, or increase your resilience to navigate the future, I'm here to support you in your journey. Individuals I've supported most frequently include teens, college students, adults, and/or identify as LGBTQ+. I most commonly work with presenting concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, emotion regulation, and ADHD.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I work collaboratively with clients to identify unhelpful thought patterns, explore how those thoughts may influence their emotions and behaviors, and develop healthier ways of responding to challenging situations.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I use person-centered care which focuses on you being the expert of your own life, treat you with honesty and genuine feeling, and meet you where you're at in your journey in order to support you moving forward.

Strength-Based

I use strengths-based care which help to frame your experiences in a positive focus. This allows you to identify strengths and skills that you may not realize you've been using to navigate through your daily life or challenging experiences.
