I am licensed in New Jersey with 5 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, trauma, drug and alcohol addiction, self esteem issues, and depression. utilize a non judging, holistic approach in working with my clients, to create an environment in which clients feel "heard" and "held". I utilize an empowerment framework to help clients take control of their lives and to become better versions of themselves.
During my first session with clients, I conduct a thorough assessment of clients mental health and emotional well being,. I also work with clients on building rapport, identifying treatment goals, and formulate an initial treatment plan.
I utilize a person centered, culturally competent, empathetic, non- judging and caring approaching working with all clients.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy
In working with my clients I utilize mindfulness based therapy to teach clients how to observe their thoughts and emotions without any judgment. This technique allows clients to become better at positively managing negative thoughts and emotions, which improves clients ability to manage their emotions, symptoms of anxiety and depression, and increase feelings of vitality in all areas of their lives.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In working with clients I utilize CBT to teach clients how to identify and replace negative/unhelpful/destructive thought patterns that often leads to emotions and behaviors that inflict emotional suffering.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
In working with clients I utilize DBT to teach clients how to positively manage and work-through difficult emotions, and improve their interpersonal relationships with others.
Couples Counseling
In working with couples , I teach techniques for positive communication, interventions that allow each individual to feel "heard and held", and skills for improving emotional safety and connectedness in their relationship with each other.
Family Therapy
In working with families, I teach techniques for positive expression of individual needs, and explore ways in which the family as a system can work together to accommodate the needs of each individual, as well as, the needs of the family as a system, in order for the family system as a whole to feel supported.
