Welcome! I’m a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Addiction Counselor with more than 20 years of experience—and this work is truly my passion. As someone who came to this as a second career, I consider it an honor and privilege to walk alongside young adults and adults as they navigate life’s challenges. I provide counseling for a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, substance misuse, process addictions, anger, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. My counseling style is warm, empowering, and collaborative. I believe that every person has the strength and wisdom to create meaningful change, and I strive to offer a safe, respectful, and supportive space where you can explore, heal, and grow. My role as a therapist is to guide, advocate, and support you as you find your voice and build a more balanced and fulfilling life. I meet clients where they are, honoring the belief that you are the expert of your own experience. To ensure each person receives the focused care and attention they deserve, I intentionally keep a small caseload. This allows me to be fully present and responsive to each client’s unique needs. I take an integrated, person-centered approach that draws from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness and meditation practices, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Every treatment plan is developed collaboratively, tailored to your goals, preferences, and pace—because therapy should fit you, not the other way around. If you’re ready to take the next step toward a healthier, more grounded life, I would be honored to support you on that journey.

Hello! I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with more than four years of experience supporting individuals as they navigate life's challenges, transitions, and opportunities for growth. My ideal clients can be emerging adult looking for a safe place to land as they figure out who they are and where they're headed, or adults who feel overwhelmed by the demands and chaos of life and are looking to regain their footing. I take a person-centered, relational approach to therapy, which means I believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important parts of the healing process. I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. I approach each person's story with curiosity, compassion, and a nonjudgemental perspective, recognizing that every journey is unique. While therapy can involve difficult conversations, I also believe there's room for humor along the way. I believe therapy should feel calm, respectful, and genuinely supportive. I create a space where people can slow down, speak openly, and feel heard without judgment or pressure. My approach is warm, grounded, and collaborative, allowing clients to explore their experiences at a pace that feels comfortable while still working toward meaningful change. Many people come to therapy carrying stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, or past experiences while continuing to manage daily responsibilities. I enjoy helping people make sense of what they are going through, build insight, and reconnect with their strengths. Conversations are honest and thoughtful, with a focus on understanding the whole person rather than just one concern. My goal is to offer steady guidance while respecting each client’s individuality, goals, and values. Through my culture I learned about the power of community, spirituality, and natural remedies to promote well-being. My philosophy of therapy is based on the belief that everyone has the ability to heal themselves, and my role is to facilitate that process by providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space. I draw from evidence-based techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and dialectical behavior therapy, as well as natural remedies, prayer, meditation, and yoga to create a truly holistic approach. Ultimately, my goal as a therapist is to empower individuals to live their best lives by helping them reconnect with their inner selves and tap into their own inherent healing abilities. I believe that true healing happens when we address the whole person - mind, body, and spirit. Open to working with children and adolescents ages 10 and older.

Reaching out for support can be one of the hardest parts of starting therapy. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin. Therapy can be a space to slow down, talk openly about what you’re experiencing, and gain a different perspective on the challenges you’re facing. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. My style is warm, conversational, and thoughtfully questioning. Rather than simply telling you what to do, I’ll help you explore your thoughts, recognize patterns, make connections, and identify practical steps that feel realistic for your life. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Reality Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, build effective coping skills, identify solutions, and work toward meaningful goals. Because no two people have the same experiences or needs, treatment is collaborative and individualized to you. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, navigating a difficult transition, struggling with anxiety or depression, or simply recognizing that something in your life needs to change, you don’t have to work through it alone. Taking the first step can feel intimidating, but reaching this point means you’ve already started. Let’s take the next step together.

Your first therapy session is for you and your therapist to meet each other and to ask any questions that you have about the counseling process. This is where you can expect your therapist to do the same as they will ask questions to gain insight into your specific situation. In this first session the therapist is doing their part to gather as much information so they can better assess if they are able to meet your therapeutic needs. Depending upon your provider's specialty, you may also discuss the methods the therapist will use. For additional information on therapy methods, please visit the Grow Therapy Help Center. Some people feel nervous before their first appointment, and that is totally normal! Coming prepared with a list of questions for your therapist may help. Remember, you're taking a brave step by seeking therapy, and it is okay to be nervous as you try something new.
