New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 13 years of experience supporting adolescents and adults through both everyday stressors and complex mental health concerns. I take an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based practices to help clients build insight, assess readiness for change, and take meaningful action. As a bicultural and bilingual (English/Spanish) therapist, I am deeply attuned to the cultural, social, and systemic factors that shape an individual’s lived experience. I believe therapy is not one-size-fits-all and work collaboratively with each client to tailor treatment that aligns with their values, strengths, and goals. My clinical experience includes working with mood and anxiety disorders, life transitions, and multicultural identity concerns, with an emphasis on fostering resilience, clarity, and lasting growth.
In our first session, we’ll take time to explore the concerns that brought you to therapy and the challenges you’ve been facing. Together, we’ll identify meaningful goals that feel relevant and aligned with what you’re experiencing. I view this process as collaborative, ensuring that your voice, priorities, and comfort level guide the direction of our work.
I recognize that therapy is not one-size-fits-all, and I work collaboratively with clients to create an approach that honors their values, strengths, and goals. My aim is to provide a culturally responsive and affirming space where clients feel seen, understood, and supported in meaningful ways.
I work with clients ages 18 and older who are ready to look inward and create meaningful change in their lives. I’m especially drawn to working with individuals who are curious about themselves and open to trying new approaches to break old, unhelpful patterns.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches to help clients develop greater awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns. Using CBT techniques, I support clients in identifying unhelpful thought patterns, examining how these thoughts influence emotions and behaviors, and practicing more balanced and adaptive ways of responding to challenges. Mindfulness training complements this work by helping clients cultivate present-moment awareness, emotional regulation, and self-compassion.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I integrate Solution-Focused Brief Therapy techniques to help clients identify and build on their existing strengths, resources, and successes. Rather than focusing primarily on problems or deficits, I collaborate with clients to clarify their goals and envision meaningful change.
