. Hello, I'm Brenda Ned, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with a passion for helping individuals navigate life challenges. My experience spans working with clients dealing with stress, anger management, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, trauma, ADHD, and social anxiety. I believe that with the right support and willingness to work towards goals, anyone can change their circumstances and improve their quality of life. My approach to therapy is rooted in several methodologies, including Rogerian, person-centered, existential, and CBT. The person-centered approach is fundamental in my practice, as it allows me to focus on your unique needs and facilitate meaningful progress through empathy, unconditional positive regard, and congruence. I practice active listening, ensuring you feel heard and understood by rephrasing your statements and asking pertinent questions. In our sessions, I strive to be a role model through congruence, demonstrating authenticity and consistency. My commitment to unconditional positive regard means I accept you without interrupting and avoid giving unsolicited advice. I also incorporate existential-humanistic therapy, which is hopeful, constructive, and centered on the present moment, helping you build a positive and forward-looking mindset. Cognitive- behavioral therapy is another cornerstone of my practice. CBT helps you understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. By changing your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, you can improve your mental health. By changing your thought patterns, you can gain a clearer perception of your situation and identify what you can control. I genuinely care about my clients and am dedicated to helping them achieve a better quality of life. We will establish your goals and work toward them in a supportive and collaborative environment. If you're ready to take the next step towards a better future, I'm here to support you on your journey. Let's work together to create the change you seek.

My journey into counseling began after witnessing how military service affected the emotional well-being and relationships of someone close to me. Approaching those changes with compassion and curiosity led me to study human behavior, and since then I have had the privilege of supporting domestic violence survivors, individuals involved in the court system, outpatient community mental health clients, residents in substance use and personality disorder treatment programs, and military personnel during my own time in service. Today, I continue to build on that experience through specialized training in relationship issues, anxiety, depression, and trauma, creating a supportive space where adults can heal, strengthen relationships, and move toward the life they want.
I am originally from Mobile, Al. I am a two time HBCU graduate with a Bachelors in Social Work from Alabama Agriculture and Mechanical University and a Masters in Social Work from Clark Atlanta University. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Georgia and Licensed Clinical Social in the state of Rhode Island with over 7 years of clinical experience. I have experience dealing with adolescents and adults with severe mental health diagnosis, gerontology, therapeutic foster care, Crisis mental health counseling, military and family crisis intervention, social service program planning and adults with mild to severe substance abuse issues.
Hi! My name is Amelia. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. My practice is specialized in trauma, addiction, and dual diagnosis. I also have experience with grief, stress, self-esteem, and relationships. I strive to offer a warm, welcoming environment where all parts of you feel welcome and accepted.
I'm Rebecca Johnson, LPC, BCBC, a therapist, nature-lover, and dog mom. I help women navigate anxiety, late-diagnosed ADHD, life transitions, burnout, identity work, self-esteem, and attachment issues. My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative. Together, we'll identify the patterns keeping you stuck, build self-trust, and develop tools that support you outside the therapy room. In addition to individual therapy, I also provide pre-surgical bariatric psychological assessments. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), mindfulness, and somatic therapy. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, we'll find what works best for you and your unique goals.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience in the mental health field. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of making a meaningful impact in our communities, schools, and families.
My passion for helping others led me to earn a bachelor’s degree in Health Services Administration from Macon State College and a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California. I am committed to ongoing professional growth and have pursued several certifications and affiliations in my field.
My true calling is empowering individuals to become self-aware, identify, and heal from generational challenges. I understand the unique struggles people face in various communities and am deeply dedicated to creating a safe, supportive space for healing and personal growth.
I truly believe people are capable of incredible growth when they feel seen, supported, and challenged in the right ways. My role isn't to tell you how to live your life. It's to help you better understand yourself, make choices that align with your values, and create a life that feels fulfilling. I love celebrating progress, asking thoughtful questions, and helping clients recognize strengths they often don't see in themselves. At the end of the day, what motivates me most is helping people experience more joy, confidence, and connection in their everyday lives.
Something feels off, and you've been carrying it longer than you'd like to admit. I work with people who are ready to stop running from the hard stuff and start building something better, grounded, real, and rooted in what you actually need, not a one-size-fits-all plan. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience helping people move from surviving to actually living. I founded New Peaks Counseling because therapy should be collaborative and built around the person in front of me, not a script. I work best with people who look like they have it together but are quietly exhausted from holding it all. My approach blends clinical expertise with real talk. No jargon, no judgment, just a space to figure out what's actually going on and what to do about it.

I hope we can work together to quiet this critic and find a way to enjoy the present.
Please note that my education and experience does not include working with clients presenting with eating disorders, complex PTSD/trauma, or OCD.
