About me

Hello, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges with compassion and clarity. I specialize in strength-based, mindfulness, and narrative approaches to support clients in building resilience, healing from past experiences, and creating meaningful change. I have experience working with clients adjusting to new medical or mental health diagnoses, as well as caregivers navigating the emotional and physical demands of supporting loved ones. I also work with older adults facing aging-related concerns and young adults exploring identity, purpose, and career paths. My goal is to provide a warm, safe, collaborative, supportive space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered in your journey.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my focus is to get to know you and understand what you're hoping to gain from therapy.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My years of experience in oncology social work have deeply shaped my ability to sit with individuals during some of the most vulnerable and life-altering moments of their lives. I bring a grounded, compassionate presence to clients navigating grief, chronic illness, new diagnoses, and caregiving responsibilities. In addition, my work as a field instructor supporting young adults in their career development has strengthened my ability to guide clients through times of uncertainty, identity exploration, and decision-making. These experiences allow me to support clients across life stages.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are individuals navigating major life transitions. Whether they’re adjusting to a new diagnosis, caring for a loved one, entering retirement, or exploring early career paths. I especially enjoy working with caregivers who feel emotionally drained, young adults facing uncertainty about their future, and older adults reflecting on identity, purpose, or loss. Many of my clients are looking for a space where they can process their experiences without judgment, build on their inner strengths, and find practical tools to move forward. If you're ready to explore change at your own pace, I’m here to support you.

My treatment methods

Strength-Based

I often meet individuals during some of the most difficult and overwhelming times in their lives. In the midst of chaos, my goal is to help shift the focus from negative experiences to the strengths and positive aspects already present. I work collaboratively with clients to identify their support systems, existing skills, triggers, and past traumas—highlighting the resilience they’ve developed and can continue to draw upon when facing life’s stressors.

Narrative

I incorporate narrative therapy by helping clients externalize their problems and explore the dominant stories they carry about themselves. Through collaborative conversations, we identify “unique outcomes” and re-author narratives that better reflect their strengths, values, and goals.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

In my practice, I use mindfulness-based therapy to help clients develop greater awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations in the present moment. This approach helps clients increase emotional regulation, reduce reactivity, and build more intentional responses to life’s stressors. I do this by introducing techniques such as grounding and breathing exercises.
