About me

Hello! Nice to meet you! I am so glad you have decided to embark into the world of increased self-discovery and reflection. I know therapy can be daunting (especially if it's your first time). I am originally from Northern California and came to Georgia for college. I graduated from Mercer University with a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health and an undergraduate degree in Sociology. I have been in the mental health field for 15 years, yet still bring a vibrant energy to the field rather than antiquated approaches.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The first session with me is us getting to know one another and building rapport. I will get a better understanding of who you are and what you are seeking in Therapy and how I can best help you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength as a provider is my Person-Centered Approach and experience in the field. Because of my background and comfort levels, I am the therapist other therapists refer to as I enjoy specialties others are not so comfortable addressing (such as LGBTQI, Sex Therapy and Couples Therapy). With this, I am easy to talk to and enjoy listening with a supportive, Solution-Focused approach.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I like to practice an eclectic, Person-Centered and Somatic style in working with clients to best meet their particular needs since every client is different and there is no "one size" fit all approach. I enjoy clients who are open minded and ready to put in the personal work it takes to grow and develop.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I really enjoy working through the past but focused on finding solutions rather than staying suck in the past.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Its important to learn CBT skills in therapy in order to effectively combat negative thoughts/patterns and related behaviors. I use CBT in my practice to teach healthy coping skills and combat negative thought patterns for healthier outcomes.

I originally was hesitant about therapy because of my past, but after a few sessions I honestly look forward to every session we have. Even when we talk about really dark things of my past, I still feel like I am getting somewhere and that things are finally going to work

I felt like I was being heard. I wasn't expecting to be so open and to have someone that sat there and heard what I said and didn't so much as tell me how I should feel, but instead validated it and helped me feel like I wasn't crazy. She is a great listener and she she is very soft spoken as well as an instant connection. I felt like it was a safe space to vent.

She’s changing me. Something I never thought I needed was a listening ear. With no judgments.
