LPC, 16 years of experience
Hello! It’s a pleasure to meet you! I’m thrilled you’ve chosen to begin this journey of self-discovery and reflection. I know starting therapy can feel intimidating—especially if it’s your first time—but it’s also an incredibly empowering step. I hail from Northern California but moved to Georgia for college, where I earned my undergraduate degree in Sociology and later completed my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health at Mercer University. With over 16 years of experience in the mental health field, I strive to bring fresh energy and innovative approaches, steering away from outdated methods. I deeply believe that cultivating a positive mindset builds resilience and equips us to face challenges with strength. By prioritizing mindfulness and optimism, we can enhance the present, aid recovery, and foster growth. My goal is to equip you with the tools to thrive and create a fulfilling, joyful life. To me, personal growth is the heartbeat of life itself. I’m committed to walking alongside you on this journey, serving as your guide and support. Together, we’ll uncover your potential, embrace your unique strengths, and work toward a life brimming with purpose and satisfaction.
Our first session together is an opportunity for us to get acquainted and begin building rapport. During this time, I will learn more about who you are, what you’re hoping to achieve through therapy, and how I can best support you on this journey.
My greatest strength as a provider lies in my Person-Centered Approach and extensive experience in the field. My background and confidence allow me to address areas that many find challenging, making me the go-to therapist for other therapists. I specialize in areas such as Trauma-Based Therapy, Substance Use, LGBTQI+, Sex Therapy, Spirituality-Based Therapy, as well as Couples Therapy—areas where others might feel less comfortable. Clients often describe me as approachable, easy to talk to, and appreciate my ability to listen thoughtfully. I bring a supportive demeanor and a Solution-Focused approach to help clients navigate their unique journeys.
I take pride in practicing an eclectic, Person-Centered, and Somatic approach when working with clients. This allows me to tailor therapy to each individual's unique needs because I firmly believe there is no "one-size-fits-all" method. I especially enjoy working with clients who are open-minded and willing to invest in the personal effort required to grow and evolve.
I utilize a combination of Mindfulness and Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) techniques in my practice.
I study and implement sexual orientation and sexual health & wellness skills into my approach
I really enjoy working through the past but focused on finding solutions rather than staying suck in the past.
Its important to learn CBT skills in therapy in order to effectively combat negative thoughts/patterns and related behaviors. I use CBT in my practice to teach healthy coping skills and combat negative thought patterns for healthier outcomes.

I originally was hesitant about therapy because of my past, but after a few sessions I honestly look forward to every session we have. Even when we talk about really dark things of my past, I still feel like I am getting somewhere and that things are finally going to work

I felt like I was being heard. I wasn't expecting to be so open and to have someone that sat there and heard what I said and didn't so much as tell me how I should feel, but instead validated it and helped me feel like I wasn't crazy. She is a great listener and she she is very soft spoken as well as an instant connection. I felt like it was a safe space to vent.
