New to Grow
Struggling with major life changes? Feeling unsure about your new reality? You don't have to go it alone! With compassion and understanding, I'll come alongside you in your journey to help you make sense of things. Uncovering patterns and finding ways to cope with challenges - both internal and external - is how we will get there together. I'll help you identify what's no longer serving you and replace it with solutions that fit your life. Whether you're a new parent, going through a divorce, struggling with a medical diagnosis, or changing careers, I'm here to help you work through those feelings. I won't just hear your words, but I'll listen to the underlying message and meaning to what you share. You are the expert of your own life and already have the answers; my goal is to simply help you uncover them! We'll collaboratively build your treatment plan and work towards the goals you've set for yourself. You direct the course of treatment, and I'll be your guide to keep us on track.
Your first session will involve us getting to know one another so that I can get a better understanding of your challenges and how I can help you. We'll identify your goals for treatment, and we'll go at your pace, every step of the way.
Helping people work through their traumas and adjust to major life changes brought me to this field. Nothing brings me a greater sense of purpose and accomplishment than watching clients have their "aha!" moment.
My focus is on clients dealing with major life changes such as marriage, divorce, new parenthood, empty-nesters, career changes, medical diagnoses, and other lifestyle shifts. I especially enjoy working with parents hoping to recover from childhood trauma while parenting their own children. As a military veteran and longtime military spouse, I also easily connect with veterans adjusting to life outside the military, and family members struggling with navigating their own lives through regular moves and disruptions.

Our thoughts and internal dialogue impact our emotions, which in turn have profound effects on our actions and behaviors. Understanding how these interplay and learning to master one's thoughts are crucial to improving our emotions and relationships with others.
