Hello I’m Hillary, a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I’m so glad you’re here. Life can feel overwhelming at times. Whether you’re navigating anxiety that won’t quiet down, depression that feels heavy, or the emotional shifts that come with pregnancy and motherhood. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, and maternal mental health, and I’m passionate about helping clients find balance, clarity, and renewed hope. I work with children, teens, and adults, creating a supportive space tailored to each stage of life. No matter your age or season, you deserve to feel heard, understood, and equipped to manage what you’re facing. My approach is warm, collaborative, and holistic. I believe healing involves the mind, body, and soul working together. In our work, we’ll build practical coping skills while also exploring the deeper patterns that may be holding you back. My goal is to help you feel empowered, not just in session, but in your everyday life. You don’t have to navigate life’s obstacles alone. When you’re ready to take the next step toward emotional wellness and personal growth, it would be my honor to walk alongside you in that journey.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session together, we’ll begin with simple introductions and creating a space where you feel comfortable and at ease. I’ll share a bit more about how I work and what you can expect from our time together, so you feel confident moving forward. Most importantly, this session is about you. I’ll gently explore the challenges you’re currently facing and what has brought you to therapy at this time. My goal is to truly understand your experiences, your concerns, and what you hope will be different in your life. From there, we’ll begin identifying meaningful goals that align with your needs. Together, we’ll create a plan that feels realistic, and supportive, and and in our follow-up sessions, we’ll build on that foundation step by step.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
What sets my approach apart is that I combine strong clinical training with genuine connection and practical tools you can use in everyday life. I have experience working with adults, teens, children, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, stress, behavioral concerns, addiction recovery, self-esteem challenges, and parenting issues. I also specialize in maternal mental health, supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum changes, and the emotional transitions of motherhood. I use an integrative therapy approach, drawing from Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy and other evidence-based modalities to tailor treatment to your unique needs. Together, we’ll strengthen emotional regulation, improve relationships, build distress tolerance, and better understand how your thoughts influence your feelings and behaviors. Therapy with me is collaborative, skill-based, and focused on meaningful growth. My goal is for you to leave feeling more equipped, empowered, and confident in handling life’s challenges.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I have helped individuals that are ready to better understand themselves and create meaningful and lasting change. You may feel overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, stress, trauma symptoms, relationship challenges, or intense emotions while trying to hold everything together. You might feel stuck, misunderstood, or unsure how to cope in healthy ways. Therapy can be hard. It requires honesty, vulnerability, and a willingness to challenge old patterns. I’m best positioned to support clients who understand that meaningful progress takes effort and time, and are ready to actively engage in the work to reach their goals. If you’re looking for a compassionate, skill-based space to heal and grow, we may be a great fit.
Integrative
My experience with this treatment method is grounded in an integrative framework that draws from CBT, DBT, solution-focused, and client-centered approaches. I use evidence-based interventions while remaining flexible and responsive to each client’s unique needs, strengths, and goals. In practice, this means helping clients develop practical coping skills, increase insight into patterns of thinking and behavior, and build on existing strengths to create meaningful change. I view therapy as a collaborative process and tailor interventions throughout the course of treatment to ensure they remain aligned with the client’s progress and evolving goals.
