2025 is my 26th year as a social worker, clinical therapist, educator, supervisor, and leader committed to support vulnerable populations. My Social Work career was initiated by my passion to support those within vulnerable populations, specifically within the child welfare system. I began my career as a Social Worker working within the Child Welfare system in New York City. In 2003, I relocated to Charlotte, NC and continued my work within Child Welfare as a Child Protective Services Social Worker. In 2008, I obtained my clinical licensure which initiated my move from providing direct clinical services to children, young adults and families.

I am licensed in Florida and Oregon with various professional healthcare experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, motivation, self-esteem, and confidence. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. It takes courage to seek out a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. I am here to support and empower you in that journey.

I received my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from The College of St. Elizabeth – NJ (Now the University of St. Elizabeth) and my doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Florida School of Professional Psychology. I was able to earn my Master’s degree in 2008 from Palm Beach Atlantic, a Christian University which offered a specialization in Biblical foundations for Counseling work, and in 2013, I also completed my Doctor of Education degree from Argosy University, which gave me the opportunity to focus on child development as an area of study.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I believe in the power of emotional support to build resilience and personal strength during challenging times. It's not always easy to admit we may need help, but doing so is a kind of empowerment all its own. I have 23 years' experience in education (10 as a school counselor) and 4 in clinical practice. My main focus is working with individuals struggling with anxiety and depression, and those who have experienced trauma.
